I remember this song when the band came up to play in a nightclub in Shetland in the late 80 s. I was a barmaid and loved them.x

Was that in 'Nightmagic' Carol? We were up there for 5 weeks and played just about every night somewhere or other but always the nightclub on Friday and Saturday. Was October 1986 I believe. Nice of you to comment and appreciate it. Thank you.

I remember when use played this song in the Happy Valley on Windmill brae in Aberdeen that must be at least 25 year ago it was good song then and its still a good song now. I will have to tell my friends that worked and drank in the valley that use are on youtube

@@neveramberdrummer the disc jockey was derek stewart who owned Black Sabbath disco and I was one of the doormen at the time but I can’t remember what year I worked there and it was the good old days

Oh wait, the link for the .mp3 file in the description is still working, I just tried it. I think there is no way you will manage to find an original copy of the vinyl record, I have only one copy of it myself but nothing to play it on :).

Yip, I seen the link, happily a techno dumplin though.. I first heard this via an Aberdeen Bass Player (RG). As much as this live version is pretty good, I found the viynl version production spot on. Hence perhaps just recording the vinyl and putting on the utubes might be enough. I see many others, for other tracks, just video the record going round on the turntable 🙂... Loved the backstory it in its creation, which for me comes through. ..Very much a timeless track and perhaps worth a re-issue?
