oh my god the fact that you step away from pop culture to make these type of videos are so amazing. In my opinion more influencers should share business and real side of the world on their platforms. It's a very hard industry to make it into and there is no time to be anyones enemies. Helping each other and sharing experiences and learning from each others mistakes needs to be a bigger thing. I seriously applaud you for doing a video like this. It might not have thousands and thousands of view but trust the few people that are watching it like I am really appreciates getting to see the real side of a multimillion dollar company.

Kind of off topic...but, blockchain is coming. Internet 3.0 - if markets want to advertise to you they must pay you for this. You will own your personal information. The end of big Data is near. This is why Facebook is trying to corrupt the system with a "centralized" blockchain where they own the data rather than a "decentralized" blockchain where you own your own data.....

Mick W The feminist extremists in this third wave, who are the loudest and most destructive are the problem. Not necessarily modern day feminism as a whole, (because the real goal since the beginning has been equality of the sexes) there are still women and men out there who believe in equality of the sexes, without degrading or discrediting men believe it or not. We as humans all need each other, you need women or you’re not able to be born, same as why we need men. You sound like a Milo follower, only you don’t make sense like he does. You sound ignorant and troll like. I agree with you about how some women have corrupted third wave feminism and turned the original equality based concept into a disgusting movement, however that is not what is happening here. This is a video showing us how someone was able to rise above all odds and create a successful business. It just happens to be the channel owner is a woman and she’s focusing on successful women and someone suggested what she could call a possible series on this subject matter. So I’m sorry if that takes any attention away from the fact you have a penis. But if you stop being so gender obsessed, maybe you could watch this video and apply it your life regardless that they’re females.

Shelby Church, if I said that you are awesome that would be an understatement. You are awesome and magnificent! Thank you sharing Mariya Nurislamova, I don't know about where she got love and caring personality, but her love and care has propelled this company forward. She is relentless. Did you see that, she was sending out samples but nobody that got the samples would buy the bigger scent bottle, then she and her staff found something that would work. Because of you, I got to go see her website and I perceived the user interface composition. I can see her love and care in the design of her website. It is a beautiful, beautiful message. I am so blessed to have entered into this video space on youtube because of you. I appreciate reading and getting vlogged about all of her hard marketing work and innovation and finding the thing the started her perfume and cologne sales growth. She and her staff deserve it! Had you not done shared this vlog, I would not have got to witness this. Congratulations to you Shelby and to Mariya Nurislamova and her staff! And she has such a pretty name too! I think. Honestly, this is super smart because perfumes are super unpractical and the industry doesn't seem to understand that. Almost all perfume bottles are too large to travel with. And those who are, are not save to travel with because you'll have liquid coming out and your entire suitcase and suits smell like a perfume store after. Shelby, this was an excellent video - super well done. As a founder myself I know how tough raising capital is and how difficult it is to go from meeting to meeting where you get a ton of nos. So many people believe you just take a flight to Silicon Valley and VCs shower you with cash - they don't :O)

If you don't come from some money, don't have connections (from the money, mostly) and are not attractive you're gonna have a hard time. So if you want to start a business you'll need either some those things along with passion/commitment and drive also be educated or talented af at what you're about. Ppl have different levels of what they deem success though. Always good to have realistic goals along with the hard to reach ones.

As for Maria of Scentbird, your interview Shelby, having cast her in a human light, also gives the perfect crossroads opportunity for her to learn from some common entrepreneurial mistakes, and redeem the integrity of her company by addressing and correcting the potential blindspots being addressed by some of your subs in the comments section, who were/are also Scentbird customers.
