I just bought the game and have started using Sceptile in story mode. I love using him b/c of his quick nature and fast attacks. I think Sceptile is becoming my main in the game.

Little late but the actual attacks are said by what button they are on the default controls (Y is light, X is heavy, and A is special). in duel phase, the different types of moves are said with a number representing the direction of the control stick 1 is down and back 2 is down 3 is down and forward 4 is backward 5 is neutral 6 is forward 7 is backward up 8 is up 9 is forward up And J represents a move used in the air (J stands for jump, but the move itself is done by pressing a button in the air)

I have nothing but respect for Sceptile mains, but fighting a good Sceptile player is absurdly frustrating. I feel like Blaziken can win that fight but more often than not I end up losing. Is Decidueye a better match up against Sceptile?

Yes, personally I think it's the hardest matchup for Blaziken. Sceptile has issues dealing with some of Decidueye's aerial approaches since it can cross up so easily. Also its walk speed can keep up with Sceptile in both phases. Fury Attack is a good punisher vs Leaf Blade as well
