@Schaaf's downshifts are simply chef's kiss! He's also doing most upshifts clutchless without quickshifter 😁 I had revmatching programmed in my brain when I started riding as I had been tracking cars, but it can be learned in an hour or so if you understand the process. And I've also spent some time getting clutchless upshifts right myself this season. This kind of shifting is so rewarding!

It's crazy how quickly CFmoto is getting better, from lackluster Kawasaki copies so some real appealing bikes, they're the first to put a 270 crank in an A2 parallel twin, and comparing the sound of this to a Ninja 500 it's no contest. That new 675 sport bike also looks a lot more appealing than the Triumph Daytona 660 does, and it's cool they're dabbling in small inline 4's and retro sport bikes with that 500 voom model. The only gripe is that the dealers are further away than those for any of the Japanese brands, and no new bike can match the value of a used Japanese bike.
@jaegermeister19682 ай бұрын
The 450MT is basically a KTM, the engine and gearbox were developed by KTM and would have been intended for the new 490 Adventure with more power. The design comes from the Austrian company Kiska, which also designs all KTMs.

CFMOTO has come a really long way. I was at my local dealer and they still had a cfmoto 700cl-x they couldn't sell. There is nothing wrong with their older models, I just never found their Kawasaki clone engines appealing and a lot of people think very negative on these bikes because they are Chinese. They see less of the older cfmoto's in their shop than they do their honda and yamaha customers with brand new bikes. It is insane the bang for buck you get with these newer models and engines. I'd love to ride a 450mt to compare it to my KLR650 and I'm also excited for their 675 Triple sportbike that's coming out!

Once CF moto gets past that made in China stigma, if they can, they'll sell more bikes. People start posting vids or reviews on bikes with high milage and good reliability you'll see more of them on the road. Problem is when this happens their prices go up and for a bit more coin you can get a bike from the big 4 Japanese brands.

Chinese bot, stop pushing your bikes here. I work in a place that sells them and services them! When our contract ends, will never get any chines bikes again. We sold 18 450mt, of that 18, something like15 came back for warranty claims and not one, but few times and they are new bikes. Dont remember how many dashboards screens we replaced, and everything takes 4weeks + for part to arrive. These are cheap bikes that look great, but its still a cheap bike. We also sell hondas, not one came back! Out of lets say 100 kawasakis 1 came back for something minor, cant remember. Royal enfiled had few in about 50 sold, nothing major, mostly battery. So NO!, they are not as good, just cheap!

Hi, thank you for this video. I really like the safe cornering you have on the road, it's a master class each time. I'm trying to reprog my brain doing the same ! This bike is very interesting indeed. It not only gives a lot for the price, it's also modern and pretty. I'm thinking to it as a second bike for offroad trails. It combines price, quality, good feeling, and real offroad capabilities. And it's my feeling, but I like the look and the sound. Agree with you regarding the geopolitical aspect of taking an asian bike, however, let's be honnest, most of the motorbike makers use asian engines, including BMW for the small / medium blocks. Only the flat is still built in Germany. The orange bikes you mention have Bajaj / KAMMI engines as well. It was predictible to see new comers from asia, proposing full bikes as they build engines & parts for a long time for the World production. I don't say it's good, or it's not, this is only facts to keep in mind. Asia & India can do the worst and the best, it's simply a matter of specifications and quality checks. If you pay the price for the best, and control the production, you get the best. Thank you again for the work on this channel

Könnyebb és olcsóbb, mint az én T7 motorom. Ha ötven lóerő fölé erősödne, akkor komolyan elgondolkodnék a cserén is.

On a other channel someone did the abuse for you for over 10000 km. The bike was still in one piece and performed very well off road. It did not break down. The abuse was extensive. Just oil change and keep on going. Remember this is a 8000 euro bike not a 25000 euro BMW GS wich "reliabillity" is suspicious. Overall it is a decent bike for the money. I want to see a comparisson between the CFmoto and the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

I agree. I unfortunately couldn't film the Himalayan. But I rode it a lot this year. I think it's even better

@Schaaf The Himalayan is better?

Nope, you can't buy it, the 2024 model is sold out everywhere. They'll produce a 2025 model but with stricter noise restrictions that come with Euro 5+ 😢

Have to disagree, I believe the royal Enfield interceptor 650 is the best sounding A2 bike,

Not wanting a Chinese bike is not so much a concern for quality, but more of a human rights/protecting our own economy concern.
@kopasznyaku2 ай бұрын
It is quality as long as some 30 years old chinese bikes showing up in operable conditions. Like an old Transalp or Goldwing. With replacement parts still available, of course 😊 Good luck, CFwhatever. A good ten years ago the South Korean industry did a similar adventure into motorcycle manufacturing. Now Hyosung is hardly remembered ….
@delusion29872 ай бұрын
@@kopasznyaku if chinese brands manage the same market share as honda and other big brands had in the past years, i have no doubt parts and everything will be fine. demand is what matters. if the bikes sell a lot, there will always be solutions and parts and used bikes that are in good condition. the most recent bikes out of china are going on this path. in my country and most south european countries, they are either best sellers or close to it.

Your own economy? Which western country you are from? HD/triumphs n KTM all manufacture in asia.
@kopasznyaku2 ай бұрын
@@the.communist The exact reason those brands' models are nowhere close in quality, reliability and longevity to the golden era of Japanese motorcycle manufacturing. You can outsource manufacturing lines, but outsourcing the approach to work, the pride taken in precision and quality, is another business. You're right, our industry is shitty too in eastern EU. But I never compared that to China's industry. You don't compare a mosquito to a mammoth. I compared Chinese to Japanese motorbike products. Japan simply has forty years of advantage in bottom-to-top quality assurance, quality management. For me there is no question at the moment. And it is not only quality. It is quality / price. But .... give a try to convince me. Chinese bikes have a hard path of evolution ahead ...

@@adrianbeacon6421 The first thing is that you can ride that bike for the rest of your life. The very name HONDA tells you that wherever you go, don't worry.
