I knew about this indicator before, but went over to ICT since January of this year and left the indicators behind. But some people make it seems like if they share with the public their system or a few settings (as we say here in Jamaica) like it will change the price of rice lol. Makes no sense to me. Because you could share a profitable system with some people and they may never be profitable as you who made the system. The markets are run by an algorithm and big banks/hedge funds guys. It could careless about your settings. All it cares about is its mandate to grab liquidity. So show some love, because people are here to learn and to help their families in these hard times.

i started automating the NNFX system around 2 year ago, and now i am funding my own start up in addition to working in a hedge fund as head of algorithmic trading R&D team. believe me this guy and his system changed my life. just listen to every single word in each and every video. it has literally gold in them. i still can't believe why VP is giving these valuable data for free (his reasons didn't convince me).

The “why is he doing this” question is literally the one and only question that has me hesitant to dive in fully. I can’t figure out why someone would go through the effort to help others (my cynicism is showing). I know why the fake guru traders do what they do, I understand that enemy clearly. VP, automated it 5 years , using simple C1 test at mt5 , mladen's Rules = SL 1.5 x ATR TP 1x ATR whichever is 1st , if indicator changes direction, mark as Chalk and change direction , settings default 32, 23, 50 , 3 close Tested 5 years 2018-2022 EURUSD = 38 wins , 16 loss, 20 chalk , Winrate = 70.37% Tested on your recomended pairs , AUDCAD, AUDNZD , AUDUSD , CHFJPY, EURGBP , EURUSD, GBPNZD, GBPUSD, USDCAD average results , 68.65% win rate , 27.71% chalk ratio, Shoutout Dillon Greich for the tutorial source code And thanks too, still a long long way to go

This is the exit indicator I have been looking for since I started building and backtesting my NNFX algorithm three years ago. I am using Everget's version in TradingView and it seems to do an excellent job of telling the difference between a sudden one bar whipsaw versus the kind of sustained slow down in momentum that indicates the end of a trend. Combined with an ATR based trailing stop, this indicator is a beast for squeezing out most of the pips on a long term trend.

I love this indicator for trading the daily time frame. It has changed my results significantly. I tried using it on the 4HR TF and the entries and exits are to fast so my results have been mixed. Bless you VP for providing help with indicators. You ROCK!!

Sir, In forex pairs SPREAD TRADING do you recommend use of CCI (say on1H chart--cci 7,cci 14, cci30,cci50 values & add all these values on each pairs to spread & compare overpriced/underpriced leg).The pairs got to have correlations of at least 90%(say aud/usd &nzd/usd--aud/jpy &nzd/jpy--eur/jpy & gbp/jpy--gbp/aud & gbp/nzd etc.).Sell the overpriced & buy underpriced. This would give trader starting edge, staying power, size choice & risk control. You would be comparing deflection of prices summed up on multiple time frames(added up/robust) for asset A & B. Your wisdom is appreciated

Hi all, backtested a number of zero line indicators, as well as indicators like the schaff trend cycle. I have been watching how this indicator moves on the minute chart, as I find it quite hard to tell when exactly these get you into trades. It seems they almost have a "tail" so to speak, that moves up and down during the trading day, and reacts with price. As price moves, the little tail flicks up and down, and sometimes even extends in length when a large candle paints, and then it locks into place when that particular candle closes and a new one opens. Then repeats the process. My question is when backtesting, does this make lining up your trade entry with the *exact* moment it flips colour, actually quite inaccurate? I believe that actual entry point should be when the tail is actually locked in, making it the day after? As you arent going to see that the moving tail is blue until it locks into place, if you take it before candle close, it could easily flip back to yellow again before the tail locks in. Apologies for paragraphs, just dont want to be saying my entries are real early when the indicators tendencies are strange.

I have backtested NNFX strategies, including continuation, 7 candle rule, 1 candle rule, ATR trailing stop, on Trading View and cTrader. I was never able to make one strategy that made profit on all the currency pairs (dropping EURCHF) over long period of time (10 years or so); There were always pairs that never make profit. So do I drop those or do I continue to develop the strategy until all pairs make a profit (or never get traded).

Surprised to find it mentioned here. I did so much research after I watched your entire YT channel... Tried this Indi several times but it never looked very worthy to me. I would suggest to couple it somehow with PFE (polarized fractal efficiency), that works in a similar way, but faster and (sometimes) better.

Schaff Trend is a stand out indicator with decent accuracy, but just not as profitable as others in my testing. There's also a few variations, of which I found that the adjustable smooth modification was generally better.

VP I've been telling you thanks from before I made my setup Even when I thought I know what I was doing and blew a couple accounts, I still kept saying thanks. When I started both doing what you said and going against what you said at the same time even trying out dirty dozen indicators I kept telling you thanks. I go on other KZbin channels and have learned a lot at other places as well, but if I should remove all I learned here everything else would fall apart. I use to lose and not know why, till I got here, I use to watch other channels and was a sheep till I got here, what you teach is like a measuring stick for what any other forex channel. I am not where I want to be but I am years ahead of where I'd be thanks to your channel. I haven't lost an account in about 2 months now and my account has been growing (I haven't been trading for a year as yet) In about a yr from now I should be way beyond the baby steps phase, (I shouldn't even be saying things like this so soon) It's all thanks to you Thank God you decided to help us.

10 23 50 80 30 is a great confirmation indicator but also a super exit indicator. 2018 -2022 backtesting seems to be solid. Algo appears to be ok but still needs a good volume indicator. Wadda was my go to but not working with my algo. Any suggestions guys.?? THANKS V.P!!!!!!

She has two other Forex specific books which are very very insightful. Paired with VP's teachings, putting in the work, backtesting, etc.. dude you will be unstoppable in these markets. Anyways, check out her books along with her volume indicator. Maybe pair it with the CMF on 14 as @Jack Gambino said, and wha-la ... prop firm time ...

With a 1 year lookback, there has got to be overfitting with those tweaks. I think you are misleading people when you say it is necessarily good for one asset class or another. The markets change and the behavior of an instrument will change a lot as well. What is even more disgusting is the fact that you change the parameters for each instrument. This will definitely lead to overfitting. You will constantly have to "retrain" your algorithm for every single parameter across every single market you trade, and it probably won't be reliable.

@@NoNonsenseForex I go back only 10 years in my tests and I can easily get between 10000 and 250000 trades if I want. Try testing on 28 pairs and multiple timeframes and you'll see for yourself. Everything below at least 1000 trades is completely random. I'm not saying your strategy isn't profitable, but your backtest is absolutely meaningless. Statistically speaking, you're probably better off not backtesting at all and just start trading that strategy live right away, it won't make a difference.
