the best market strategy is to work with a credible investing coach. Since a while ago, I've been in touch with a coach, mostly because I lack the depth of understanding and mental toughness to deal with the ongoing market conditions. You lack the information necessary to succeed in a competitive market, not because you're doing anything wrong, but rather because of your lack of experience.

Because of dividends, I first began investing in stocks. It's important, in my opinion, to be able to live off of dividends without selling if you invest and make other income in addition to payouts. It suggests that you may pass that down to your kids and give them a leg up in life. Over the years, I've invested over $600k in dividend stocks; I continue to buy more today and will keep doing so until the price drops even further.

I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years

What most people don't know is that they can live, tax free, off the margin on their account. There will be interest (usually low), that you can have a separate dividend stock pay for, but you never need to pay back what you borrow with margin unless the stock value drops too much (margin call). As well, with margin you don't lose the asset (you're just borrowing against it, not selling it) so it is still in your account, compounding unimpeded. When you die, the brokers settle the moneys by selling the assets and your heirs get the balance tax free. The method is called Buy, Borrow, Die, and it is what the rich do. So having dividend income is good if you need the income in a few years but it is the inferior play if you're young and/or you have a 20+ year timeline until you live off your assets.

The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

@rssharma99 ай бұрын
He makes a lot of mistakes but his videos are fun to watch. You are absolutely right, QQQ returned 18.93% annualized over the past 10 years but SCHD returned 11.27%. This is from Morningstar.
@mugg18419 ай бұрын
It also says SCHD gets a annual dividend of $258k with a 4mil worth but QQQ gets only $6k with a 15mil worth
@rssharma99 ай бұрын
How much dividend one gets after so many years cannot be estimated well. My thinking is that SCHD will grow it's dividend at 5 to 7% per year while QQQ will probably grow a bit faster as all the tech companies mature and start paying dividends (like CRM and META did this year.)
