The look on his face as if he was just told he's been eating human flesh, the dramatic horror music, his unwarranted and hilariously over-the-top anger, him punching the waiter in the stomach, the chef peaking out from the kitchen and then hitting him over the head with bottles, the pies thrown at the couple, the restaurant descending into chaos all the while an Asian couple can be seen quietly eating their food, his wife hysterically pleading for him to stop, his maniacal promises of revenge, that he has to be restrained and repeatedly hit with a frying pan. I saw this sketch for the FIRST time this morning, 9-26-21! Imagine my delight for it was a total surprise to me! I laughed until I was crying. This was typical Farley, hands down one of THE masters of comedy! Farley is sorely missed by me and I'm certain millions of other fans. I watched this skit several times (HAD to!) and the tiniest of details you notice each time after the first make it even more hilarious! BRILLIANT!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Farley obviously carried the sketch, but a lot of the other actors and direction/effects people made things come across terrific here. The sound of the coffee cup clanging on the plate, the horror music as he starts his rampage, the distraught wife, the slap, the chef looking around the corner, the quick cuts to the elderly couple being hit with the pies, and so forth. It goes on and on!

From the "...What?" at the beginning, to the frying pan ringing out like a tolling bell of doom at the end, this is one of the greatest SNL sketches EVER. Chris Farley was a goddamn genius! And all those added touches too: solid-quality extras, the "Swedish" host and his minimalist set, the monster-movie style music, the moment of quiet after the chaos with sobs and someone saying "it's over..."
