Schizophrenia and drinking the bitter cup

Suffering is a bitterness that everyone born into this world must at least once taste. It is always our desire to bypass drinking from this cup and reach the fountain of sweetness without facing the darkness head-on. We pray for this cup to be removed from our tables while never considering that perhaps it's by drinking or persevering through the suffering that we are to be transformed and set firmly on our path. The goal should not be the end of our suffering, but rather, the goal should be how best can i endure this hardship. This is transformative, while the former mind is crippling. Drink from the bitter cup, and suffer courageously.

Definitely not. But I guess the room I'm in could be mistaken for a hospital room! I hadn't thought of that. I'm at a work camp. 14/7 rotation, and that little room is my home for those 14 days.
