Yo Jacob I got Paranoid Schizophrenia I believe its a spiritual affliction rather than physical mental illness I hallucinate regularly and believe its a spirit world affect rather than a mental illness I did a lot of speed and marijuana some lsd and other drugs and it inamplifies my illness to the point of full on hallucination I enjoy your videos and hope to see more soon - your avid subscriber ---Curt---

I have schizophrenia myself, and I seem to be in a roughly similar situation to the guy who made this video. One of the positives of having schizophrenia, to me, is that I became acutely aware of many of the faults in my mind. I learned from beating delusions that just because I believe it, doesn't make it true (had an interesting time proving one of my own delusions wrong while I was having it, and actually managed to break that delusion by doing so). I lack any superstition whatsoever, because I had to get rid of it to prevent any access point that delusions might use to enter my mind. I ended up with no tolerance for bullshit, deception or spin, even from myself, which earned me a lot of respect from some people on forums I argue on. I'm one of those rare people who doesn't ever lie on the Internet, since there's no point, since nothing I do matters enough to be worth lying about. Of course, sometimes people find it depressing to talk to me, since I apply that lack of spin to everything, which has caused some people to become upset with me when I talk about unpleasant things that humanity has rationalized as acceptable. (primarily the Holocene extinction and the way humans treat non-humans in fiction and in reality). My lack of superstition has also caused some problems when I discuss the more common superstitions people have (like the irrational belief that humans have a magical parasitical entity called a "soul" that possesses their body until it dies). Lots of people have said I must be fun at parties (sarcastically of course). Some people even call me evil and want me to be locked up forever for suggesting that life in the universe would be a hell of a lot safer if humanity went extinct, given how much of it we kill for one reason or another. Some of my friends took that way, way too personally.

I don't agree with his stance on the issue. I know that schizophrenia is a gift and when properly handled, is the birth of a healer. Here is a video that really sheds some light on it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJC9qJ6NhZWWl5I

people like to judge others based on whether or not they go to school/ have a good job/have a lot of friends, etc. but you look around and all these super well-educated, rich people arent necessarily making the world a better place. people like you do! people who have genuine wisdom. i enjoy your point of view. & i definitely hope that you feel a sense of satisfaction in what you do, especially here on youtube. because it does make a difference.

I completely agree with you. I have chronic depression (dysthymic disorder) and it's a bit hard to see the positives of the disorder, but the more you look at the disorder negatively, the worst it becomes. So I try to think of at least one positive I get out of the disease, such as making me a more empathetic person. Anyways, good video!

You want yourself to find success and happiness, you set goals for yourself, and you work hard to achieve those goals. That's something that most people can't say for themselves, and most people don't have to deal with what you go through on a daily basis. I don't have schizophrenia, but I'm not normal mentally either. It might be ADHD, or mild autism (like aspergers or PDD-NOS), or maybe I have just been really depressed and anxious for most of my life. I don't have an answer yet, but I'm on a waiting list for a psychiatric evaluation. I love your attitude towards life. It's really positive and I feel like I could learn a lot from you. You make me feel a bit better about whatever it is that I have. Thank you for making this video!
@sage47708 жыл бұрын
Don't do that. Us humans want to put labels on everything which often suck the beauty out. There is no such thing as mild autism or adhd. It's society that can't fully understand you (and obviously don't know you so their opinions are irrelevant) so they just put a word on you which is not helping, you are given that word, your put in the house of crazys which can be hard to come out of because it can be a powerful illusion. Try something else, there are solutions to these things other than being labeled! Eat healthier, meditate, do art, whatever can make you happier will take away the negative aspects of you

My awareness is so damn fractured. It's hard for me to have an awareness. Not only, but other people take over my awareness like Putin, and right now a doctor (not here) I had is in control of my thoughts. The positives aren't many. I guess sometimes I have a special relationship with the universe. The negative is mostly that I never know what I'm going to experience or do, and it makes planning for the future difficult. Goals are kind of unrealistic.

5:04 DING DING DING! yes. i'm so happy for you. MAKE it a positive. You're still so young (10 younger that me) and seems you'd at the time you made a big breakthrough. because that's what this is. We are the psychic warriors and these things are REAL. only this colours they wear change. respect and that. you say you don't enjoy human contact and brother I can dig that. I wonder have you had any shared hallucinations with other people? (pissing off the pyramids...) I spent a good 3 months in a what could be described as supercharged, potent, super-aware, super confident and controlled effortlessly, god-like state, I quit my meds, quit smoking, and woke up every morning resetting and transmuting everything into gold, MAKING it a positive. its the T.V. the obnoxious metal I listen to and anything negative that pulls u out of it. I had deaths in the family. I became bitter with the world. everything is a game of yes and no. good for you.
@AaronCross7607 жыл бұрын
I was pretty much debilitated from it when I was 20 but now I'm 32 and fine, I never took meds except for a little while to see if they worked or when forced to. What helped me is studying spiritual things, Kryon/lee carol was one of the first things I started reading.

I haven’t been diagnosed with any mental disorders, at least to my knowledge, but I feel like I’m slowly heading down the road of isolation. I don’t really make plans with people or feel the need to with the exception of a few very close friends. The only reason I still talk to people is because I have to at school but otherwise I rather just be by myself. I don’t really like people that much I think people kind of suck and I rather be alone with a dog or something.
