I used to be scared to talk about Schizophrenia. Listening to you has taken my fear away and given me a better outlook on the whole topic. Thank you for that.

I have also been diagnosed Schizophrenia, but it was good to have a name for this and understand whats going on. I also spend most of my free time on the computer/internet and dont really do much. I am going to watch your video on anxiety because i also have trouble communicating with people. Thanks for your videos :)

I don't know if I've suggested it before but I would like a video on your goals for the future. Do you want to go get better and to college to learn (which you said you like) or perhaps getting bigger as a youtuber and streamer. You have beautiful features so I think you could model if you would like, not necessarily the "catwalk in front of people kind" but definitely doing photos shoots

Don’t be afraid it isn’t something that you need to be afraid. The more you understand about schizophrenia the more comfortable you will become with it. You will be fine if you are lacking sleep try sleeping don’t try to self diagnose. See a doctor of you start hearing or seeing things. Mental health is important to take care of you for this!!!

hey man, recently been having a lot of delusions and your channel is helping me so much. I've not been diagnosed with anything yet so I won't claim to have schizophrenia but watching your channel has given me so much comfort knowing that my thoughts could be false and I could just have an illness. Keep going man!!

I want to thank you Jacob for educating me and others about Schizophrenia. But my personal thank you is for teaching me that being alone isn't lonely and that its a great thing to get to know yourself and be immersed in hobbies. Thanks for teaching me that being alone isn't a bad thing and that everything has beauty in life :) Hope u find your way too friend, U need to start small the first step is talking to people about your concerns and gradually forcing yourself into situations until it becomes more manageable. Positive thinking is what you've shown your capable of. Keep your will alive, you have a lot of time to find direction but u need to reflect on your future in the midst of dealing with your condition. All the best

I got super mad after being diagnosed with PTSD. For some reason it registered in my mind as if the psychologist insulted me. I accept it now and don't feel like that much anymore but man at first it sucked to hear it.

I know it probably varies from person to person but when you see things are they right in front of you clear as day? or is it the thing where you see something next to/behind you and when you look theyre gone? also, when you first got diagnosed did you ever feel like you were faking it subconsciously?

I feel the same, i do have some sensory issues and maybe some sort of autism. Im fasinated about everything, also peoples but i do struggle a bit. I believe having passion is the main goal to develope ourselves. You might find it really hard to meet people but if you get passionated about ppls that might change a bit. It seems we think The same way, nice to see someone in the same sprit. That might be to some common experience. And you seem more normal than others, good mindset.

I try to be there for my ex boyfriend who has paranoid schizophrenia. We're 4 hrs apart, he's in OK and I'm in TX so we communicate on messenger off and on. He will be nice one day and the next horrible to me due to his episodes. He won't take his medicine, lives w/his mom. We tried to live together, but I had to leave due to his physical abuse towards me. His verbal abuse was bad enough. I jusr wonder sometimes if it's all schitzophrenia or partly just him. He also has PTSD and had been in prison twice. Not the kind if guy I would go for at all, but you can't help who you love. I still love and miss him, but I had to leave him last Sept. due to him physically abusing me.

@julesjuuls37395 жыл бұрын
The answer to your question is physical abuse is abuse and there is no excuse that would make it okay for you to stay in that situation. You did the right thing by removing yourself from the situation. If he had taken his antipsychotic meds than there would have been less aggression. Only he can be responsible to take his medication.

Yeah I see him being picked for some type of entertainment job, he said he likes to sing, then I think he should focus is energy on writing his songs, I'd imagine it would be very therapeutic for him, I know I feel better when I build goals and routines for myself, I study, that's my thing but I also space out my time so I have enough time to sleep, and chill on my days off, I might go out and go shopping later, but that's all life is really about, just simple things, I think if you put to much energy on your condition it becomes harder for people with his condition to heal, don't worry about it to much, I have ptsd, but it doesn't define who I am, it just happens, but it doesn't make you insane, if that was the case they'd hospitalize you for the rest of your life and even then, crazy people are still people too, I was actually thinking of finding some type of peer support job, I've been in hospitals in the past too, but I think he should just have some fun, I can't see any girl not wanting to take him out for lunch. He's got really nice eye's.

I want to know if you have fears for your future? I have fears for my future right now. I am without a job and car. I could not go to college because it would be hell. I have tried to not think as much about things because I dont want to hear voices. Now I am a lot better sometimes. Tomorrow my mom and dad are going to talk about me being independent and getting a job. I know my mom and dad aren't going to live forever. I dont want to be mooching off my other family members. My aunt and uncles have been asking me about getting a job. My mom hasn't told them about what really is going on. My psychiatrist tells me I shouldn't be working because of paranoia. But I have worked through my schizophrenia and have had jobs before. I feel like my mom, and psychiatrist is holding me back from being independent and being successful in life.
