It's hard to believe that people actually live a life like this which we can only dream about. What a life!
@hardcyd3r4 жыл бұрын
Eh, there are too many variables that make this lifestyle unsustainable in the long run. Being a mobile home, it'll have it's fair share of maintenance and breakdowns, the children will grow up without any real privacy, they can't really have many friends over for sleepovers or other kid things, plus when mom and dad need to retire and settle down, a bus isn't wheel chair or handicap friendly for living in. It's cute for singles, or for glamping, but there's nothing envious about 4 people in such a small space. Just imagine the first time you have to go to the bathroom for a taco Bell blow out! Lol

That's what I thougt too. They did not anticipate it. The living area up to the kitchen is more spaceous so their bedrooms and toliet and bath are just fit for them.... I suggest them to make blueprint of the whole bus area with respective measurement according to its function; living area, kitchen, rooms and toilet and bath...

There are so many bus conversions out there. I have viewed a lot of them. I think yours is the best. I love your bedroom. I would live in your cozy office space. Best wishes on your adventures.

I'm the ex wife of an over the road truck driver and I can honestly say, living on the road is "one" of the best experiences I've ever had. Found a place to eat in Wikkiup, Arizona. The couple was from NJ and living their dream on an Indian reservation. Having had a glimpse of that life, I can easily see how living off the grid, is a much less stressful and peaceful way of life.

They Free Spirit- good luck with the convincing ;) so far the life has been pretty good (but with some adjusting too hehe). Well designed space, sensible and functional. Love the large windows which are classic and stylish. I don't think I could improve on anything you have done. Well done!! You seem a lovely family, and the kids are having the time of their lives instead of being stuck in daycare with working parents gone all day. This is enriching for them. I would focus on teaching them languages at this age, they absorb it like sponges. With regard to your bookshelves, I saw a guy use paracord - 2 cords across each shelf to keep stuff in. Only takes two holes either side. You want to make the cord overlap the outside edges of shelf to get maximum clearance inside. See Lee Blake's video on his Sprinter van build. He has a genius for organizing down to the smallest detail. I found it instructive and full of ideas.

I don't know why, but I am *ADDICTED* to seeing tiny houses! It's has very minimal space, it feels like a dollhouse and because I am very fragile, it will be easier to movie around in a tiny house. As a minimalist and quite feminine person, living in a tiny house is a dream! I wish I can live in a tiny house, or even stay in one for at least a week! But, I don't think it's possible when I live in SouthEast Asia. :( So, thank you for this tour! (: It really just fulfill a part of my dream.
