Fun fact! Tenma is older than Harima. Tenma's birthday is November 30th while Harima's birthdaye is December 1st. Also Itoko's best friend Sasakura Youko also mentioned Harima's first kiss was Itoko in one manga chapter and also likes Harima. This also implicates that Harima is liked by older/mature women.

I found something interesting about this Nara, he shares the same birthday as Lala Gonzales: www.marv.jp/special/game/ps2/rumble2/chara/index.htm Odd enough, Lala looks like a female version of Harima and Nara looks like a male version of Tenma. Maybe if he decides to make more SR, maybe he can put them together like a gender bent pairing of the main leads. I can picture it like Nara mistakes Lala for Tenma, since he doesn't see her face, but the back of her head. Just like in this one episode Lala disugised herself as Tenma to fool Harima and Hanai, so maybe something like that. And Lala would ask both Ichijo and Imadori for advice, and Imadori gives her horrible advice, and Nara would go along out of fear of getting beaten by her. Just a thought.

Funny! I thought of Nara looking like a main character! XD I thought Jin was making fun of how generic characters are in most anime and manga, yet become uninteresting to the unnatural main characters. I love school rumble because I believe Harima is one of a kind main character! Oh man I hope he wasn't supposed to be in Nara's place as just a side character.

Yeah i was surprised to hear that Nara was originally supposed to be the main male character. He really does look like thee type though. It just wouldn't be SR if it wasn't Harima though.

I always thought that Ooji Karasuma was meant to be the main character. Well, he kinda is, since most main characters from the shows I've seen had some of his type as the lead like Gundam Wing, Gundam 00, Aldnoah Zero and some shoujo works. Well the lead of Persona 4 kinda looks like a slimmer taller version of Karasuma . And Karasuma also looks like the love child of Rei Ayanami and Shinji Ikari. As a matter of fact, next to Karasuma, several of them look like characters from some Gainax anime, Tenma looks like Mahoro, Fuyuki looks like Suguru both from Mahoromatic, and Mai looks like Hikari from NGE.
