Schools safety and hair policies

Violent scenes in schools hogged the headlines at Crowthorne Christian Academy and Eldorado Park Secondary School this week.
In discussing this, education expert Dr Lehasa Moloi and education law expert, Dr Jaco Deacon, say the solution lies not only with schools but communities.

I think the mother and the pupil need to look at their attitude. This person is not a South African. He is not speaking the same language. EFF there burning stuff again, first thing they do. He colonial capitalist attitude isn’t what lies below. He speaks about of violence and we first up people represented by him are burning down the school sign. What do we learn from that.? Yes parents expect teachers to take over the growth and socialisation of children, the rules at a school need to be upheld by all, if parents don’t like those rules then don’t send your kids there.

You saying people like Rastafari and izangoma even shembe must not be accepted in public schools if the schools dont want long hair? Schools must just allow and not abuse students who are not Christians. Christians must accept that and move on
