I heard by accident, while working outside in the garden, just a few notes of this whispering from an old radio out of the garage and immediately ran off to Shazam the thing. I got very excited, because it sounded so play- yet adorable in the first place. Well, the sheet turned out to be a typical "Liszt - In your average piano skill - face", but your interpretation is a gift to listen.

This specific recording of Val is my very special "Lisitsa-Jewel". For me it is not more and not less than a valid answer to the suffering we find in our human existence and the sadness that goes along with it. "Valid" because it has the astonishing effect of dissolving very gently all my pain, very much like what happens in prayer and deep meditation. That's why I call Val a prophet. Her "message" touches my soul like the speeches of Buddha or the timeless teachings of forgiveness by Jesus.

I listen to this over and over and then I play by ear on my Yamaha p95 electronic keyboard in my apartment. You are the essence of inspiration; of the pinnacle of piano excellence and accomplishment. That is a really beautiful performance. :-) I remember your performance when you visited Larry Bucks' shop in Lowell. You helped me with my horrible playing of Schubert's Impromptu Op. 90 No. 3 the next day. I'm still working on that and have made many improvements since then.
