Great result! With that simple dash piece and RHD conversion would be pretty easy. Maybe a candidate for a Restomod to match the mustard one if you can work out how to get the wheels off 🤔

well, the 100 coupe is a beautiful thing. :) the only other fastback coupe from germany was the Granada/Consul one, but they came out in 1972. anyway, love the colour hue, even though the camera doesn't catch it all. :) I have taken apart a good number of them, and repainted them with brush and Humbrol. I think the only way of popping out the hubcaps on purpose is to bend the axle up and press the wheel inwards. but nobody wants bent axles as you'd have to remove them to straighten them, of course. but here is a thought. maybe you can use one of those needle-thin axles herpa used to push in against the hubcap along the original axle? they are sturdy, and thin enough. I never tested it myself, though, either they were there, or already missing. XD

Wow!!! What an amazing restoration!!! Looks like it just came out of Schuco’s factory. So you simply press down the base onto the post? I can’t believe that’s strong enough for play

I would like just to leave a suggestion for you. Hope you don’t take it wrong. But what if you paint the inside of the doors mathching the interior? I think that would take your work to another level!
