Smoked hot wing style nuts

Smoked nuts are a great snack to have with a cold drink or as a party appetiser. Nuts are healthy and still cheap enough to buy, and when you add this hot wing sauce to them, you will be addicted from the first taste. The heat ramps up and the taste buds sing.
As with all my recipes I run through the selection, preparation, seasoning, BBQ set up, times and temps, so you can recreate this recipe at home.

Main Ingredients:
375 grams of unsalted peanuts
¼ of Franks red Hot sauce
60 grams of unsalted butter
1 teaspoon of kosher salt
½ teaspoon of coarsely cracked black pepper
½ teaspoon of garlic powder
Items Used:
57cm (22”) Weber kettle
Briquettes
Fire Starters
Charcoal Chimney
Heat proof gloves
2 x cherry wood chunks
Feeds: 4 to 6 (as a snack)
Style of cooking: smoking
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time and temp : 1 hour
Rest Time: 30 minutes
Cuisine: American / Australian
Hydration: 2 x beers

Beer snacks got me thinking .... we have the Super Bowl coming up and every area in the states has there own fav app for games . When I can I watch some footie ( bomber fan , but support the dockers also) . How about finding apps that are traditional for the different clubs ? Even the Crows ... ( maybe not ) that might be fun ? Glad I found your site , thanks Shu !

Was my mother-in-law hot at 18? Not sure, I'll need to ask my wife's dad! And Schuey's beer timer is still skewiff... ergo, I'll automatically apply Chewie's conversion formula and make it at least a 4-beer cook!
