the second video was the off-broadway version of the musical. Lin Manuel Miranda (writer and actor who plays Hamilton) changed it and made the song shorter due to timing of the play itself.

The second video you reacted to was the off-Broadway version. The reason why it didn't make it onto the soundtrack, is because it's illogical. Eliza was upstate with Angelica, why would she come back to Alexander after a few songs? I'm not sure, but that's my reasoning.

Since you watched the workshop version of "Schuyler Defeated" you have to listen to "Let it Go" It connects the story better with this version And the "Workshop" meant it was what they had before they had the finished production on stage and such

The first one is the actual song. The second was a workshop version, which is not in the actual musical. It's sound like it's on a stage because it was recorded somewhere else and not in a studio. The second version was how the song was originally gonna be but in the actual musical, the first song is what's in the musical.

That was really interesting. It's not the live show but the read/sing-through before the show actually hit stages. That second version really changes the feel of this part of the play and Aaron's character who doesn't crack this early in the revised version.

So the reason why the song sounds "incomplete" is because at the end of the song, it transitions to the next song. What you heard was the workshop version which is basically a rough version of the musical before it was completely done.

The reason the workshop's version is different is because it was the first version of the musical before they made some cuts and edits. The one from the soundtrack is the final version. Also in the workshop version there is a song that ties into this one and it comes right after Schuyler Defeated called Let It Go

The lead up that you heard goes on to the next song which is cabinet battle #2 which is why we were hoping for you to watch both of them at the same time since it is confusing in that way. The workshop versions are really interesting because they show the uncut songs. The first one was the proper one from the show and the soundtrack but the second one was when they were testing it, checking to see if it worked or not. There are versions of some of the other songs too, some of them are really worth listen to.

Essentially Aaron was trying to grab power as he said he wanted in Room Where It Happens. It wasn't his intention to screw Alexander over but as you saw when confronted, anger and tensions started to bubble up. Next up is Cabinet Battle 2: Avenoire has my favorite!

4:15 Burr still sounds a bit salty about that. I mean, somewhere around the same time as Dear Theodosia or Lauren's interlude Lee died. I think like two days after the war or something, so him and Lauren's died about the same time, which is interesting because that means that Alexander and Burr both lost their friends or found out about that after the war.

Ok, the shorter version is actually the final version, the longer version is the scrapped, early rendition of it. Next normally would be Cabinet Battle #2, but I recommend Let it Go next. It is a completely scrapped song in bw this and Dear Theodosia reprise.

I do this all the time to clear my throat before a musical. Try getting a stick of ginger, cut it in a chunk, boil it so it's not too strong for 2 min, sprinkle a bit of powder sugar for a bit of sweetness and eat it. It should clear your throat. WARNING: It will burn your throat when you eat it but it'll help you feel better. Or it's just nasal drip don't sleep on your back. Sleep in your side.🖒😊
