In the first story,I'd love to imagine the human generals giving a speech to the scientist about how they were going to write the song of death and retribution for earth and their cold calculating godlike mathamatical prowess was going to be their ace in the hole leading to unbridled chaos in the entire galaxy. Srsly a decapitation strike that'll land after 200 years, long after they've died, just a final "f*ck you" from humanity.
