@@touchedanerve471 raise foot of bed about fifteen inches, I secure my feet with a car inner tube, tied to both ends of bed post, then tied in middle, stick feet in sideways, straighten feet, flex against resistance, I think,helps recovery. It takes months, crutches to get around, good luck

I found that 200mg of celecoxib is as effective as 7.5mg of hydrocodone and lasts much longer. I had a herniated disc a year ago and the pain was excruciating. Transforaminal steroid injections were also highly helpful. Excellent presentation btw!

Why is traction therapy not recommended?

Good question - if you read through the NICE guideline, it goes through the evidence for and against. The short answer based on multiple studies is that pain relief is short term and functional improvement is not clinically significant. Bw Simon
