When I lie down straight , I couldn't get up. I feel severe pain in my left side of my hip to thigh such that I couldn't get up and feel like my leg got stuck. Is this the sign of sciatica?

No. this is not a sign of sciatica. Feeling Stuck means there could be spasm or catch in some muscle in buttock or leg. Focus on relaxing the muscle. once this is done the pain will settle down. Until then, turn to the right side (unaffected side) and get up so that the strain on painful side is reduced.

For sciatica, you can start with the advice in video. This will help you with lower back pain too. But we need to add more exercises for L4-L5 compression. That will also depend upon the exact involvement and extent of compression of disc. We can suggest specific exercises after an assessment only.
