I did it I took the infamous notorious step and just got a cortisone shot in my lower back. For almost a year now I say about 10 months I tried every single core, Glute, strength regimen, stretching every part of my hip flexor and foam rolling. I also did ice cold plunge and infra red sauna, decompression . I'm 39 but I'm a very active athlete been an athlete my whole life and I miss running and training like I used to 😭 anyway nothing worked so let's see if this injection works. It's my first one ever. But it's worth a try. Won't know if you don't try especially after exhausting all these tips from these types of videos.. Don't get me wrong I have learned alot about my body from these videos but I'm back to square one.

You are in the exact position 99% of my clients come to at. You don’t need more exercise, stretching or injections. You need a clear consistent desensitization strategy FIRST. Then we work up from there.

Everyone is trying to make a profit off our pain. Including McGill. None of this works for disc injuries. I hope the shot helps you and isn't temporary.

@@7THxSIGN What kind of disc injury you have? For how long you have been in chronic pain? How this injury first happened? Did you try injection or went through surgery?

Thank you! Quick question, how do we go about the dead bug opposition crunches? do we hold the position or we do reps by lowering the legs then bring to them chest and crunch?

Reps…come up, crunch, blow all your air out then go back down and take a breath or two. You can hyperventilate so take it slow at first

Hello i love everything you do!! Thank you for it! I have just one question :) I have L4 -L5 3mm bulging disc and i got riddled of pain but probablt if i start lift weights i could injure myself again. I really want to start like body weight exercises like pull ups, chin ups with bar and gymnastics rings and maybe some push ups. Do you think that is good idea? My routine for now is: 3x20Dead bug,Modified Plank,bird-dog,cow-cat and then 3x8 reps pull ups +dips

If your in pain now you need a desensitization strategy first before strength.
