*My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through **Diabets.Care** She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that*

My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. But thank God for this piece of article kzbin.infoUgkxVYhghKWmrUgXARZ_ydZTvmmcrw5L0I5i At first he thought he had the flu and was lying down on the bed for three days until his sister took him to the hospital. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is good stuff.

Actually the GLP-1 agonists are very important in type 2 diabetes. Another very important class that you never mentioned are the meglitinides. Bromocriptine is another type 2 drug but it is rarely used in diabetes. However, the meglitinides and the GLP-1agonists are used commonly in type 2.

Thank you !!! complex concepts made very simple in a digestible form. Just need to know one more thing.... in type I diabetes, insulin is not produced by beta cells but external insulin works, does it mean that patients with type I diabetes lack insulin production but not insulin receptors?
@SimplyFitwithJay9 жыл бұрын
+Imran Raza types one is a auto immune disease, which means that the body destroys the beta cells which produce insulin.
