Very helpful review Dr A. Maybe share with us the optimal ratios of ingredients so that we too can assess the products on our own before purchase. A lesson on how to make your own electrolyte drink might also be appreciated by the audience.

I used Optimal electrolyte lemon flavor powder for 3 months ( = 3 plastic containers ) and it gave me such a lightheadedness and most of all it gives me a very bad inflammation for the first 3 hours after I consumed it then it gradually slowed down to where I can tolerate it after. Happened every day as long as I took it! Maybe it is from the fruit flavor, coloring or the stevia . So I am trying a new brand today. Hopefully I can get right with taking electrolytes powder “ unflavored “ from other brands.😂

@georgemoonman28303 ай бұрын
When i went to carnivore i started getting wicked leg cramps, i tried various combinations of potassium and magnesium and assumed i was getting enough salt through food as just for taste i was adding a lot of salt. Nothing really worked. In the end i stopped taking potassium and magnesium amd added salt to my drinking water, particularly in the evening and in the glass i took to bed. Ive had blood tests done and my potassium and magnesium are always perfect, indicating no need to supplement. Over time i now dont need the salt in drinking water either now, but even early on, potassium and magnesium did nothing for me, salt was the issue. Just take more salt and more regularly particularly if you are only eating once or twice a day.

I am not a fan of products loaded with salt. Not only do they usually use cheap refined salt but it is somthing we all have in the kitchen. Having to pay for it is unnecessary as we can always add to it as needed. It is everything else that matters more in my opinion. Those other minerals are more difficult to get from just foods alone depending on quality, source, protein ratio, fasting etc

What are the risks of taking astaxanthin? Side effects. Some laboratory studies have shown astaxanthin may hinder an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase. As a result, it could keep testosterone from changing into the hormone DHT in the body. It's unclear what effect this may have, but prescription medicines that affect the same enzyme may cause side effects, such as: Lower libido Male breast growth Erectile dysfunction

Thank you very much for this video. I've not tried an electrolyte drink before and have been weighing up which one to get, but some of them are so expensive. The Keto-Pro one you highlighted is very reasonably priced, so I have decided to give it a go. Dr. Abs, have you ever looked into what are the best dietary sources of K2 and how much we need? I’m seeing that egg yolks have 3-5 micrograms, a serving of beef organs might have 5 micrograms, an oz of cheese 10-20 micrograms. The recommended daily intake for men is 120 micrograms. It would be hard to get that much daily from food. I thought you might have an interest in this since you like the carnivore diet and the only natural sources of k2 mk4 are animal foods.
@georgemoonman28303 ай бұрын
I eat about 600 grams of meat, 3-6 eggs and a bit of dairy inc cheese, so that works out about 80-110 micrograms per day. Don't forget that RDA's are calculated for people on a "standard western diet" so often the requirement for people eating a different way can be lower. I'm currently under muscled and so to support continued muscle growth I will be increasing my intake too, so I don't think it's hard to hit 120mcg through food if you are keto or carnivore. Butter is also a really good source of K2 (grass fed).

Hi Dr. Abs, At the final board, there's an error I believe. You've placed "Uses stevia instead of artificial sweetners" on the PROS of Gorilla and the same on the CONS of the TheKetoPRO.
@ghostofakari94272 ай бұрын
I've skipped on electrolyte powders but am not opposed to trying Keto Pro. As of late, all I do is put either Celtic salt or Sea of Cortez salt in ultra purified water so it is mineralized again. I use to do sports drinks like Body Armor, G-Fit and Vitamin Waters. Although, the high added sugers and additives that I learned about, steered me away from them. They also seemed to be much less effective in the desert climate I live in with the occupation I'm involved with. I hear a lot of mixed reactions about Stevia. It seems to be replacing things in a lot of items in general. Do you feel there should be a limit to the intake of the ingredient, even if our bodies can break it down more efficiently then other things you find in sports/replenishing beverages? Many food and beverages are so "unclean" especially in the States. There's very little valuable regulation and health standards on things here. I've realized other countries have had more tenur with their economy on certain matters and addressed a lot that hasn't been dealt with here. Watching your content has confirmed this understanding. Which is sad but encouraging at the same time. I wish countries would adopt what others have successfully resolved instead of remain prideful in only doing things "their way."

Hey there Pedro, many thanks for this. Shipping to Europe has been difficult since Brexit, but we don't charge extra for shipping, we simply pass on the cost. :-) The way many negate this is by purchasing 3 tubs for example as the carriage cost will stay the same. In comparison with other brands, this still works out considerably less with shipping as I keep my margins incredibly small compared with other brands within the market. I'm always exploring other shipping options, potentially even a distributor in Europe, so watch this space :-) Feel free to sign up to our news letters / mailing list and you'll be the first to know when this is in place. :-) Thanks again Pedro, have a great day. :-) Rich
