I would think if an apartment was full of smoke and two incinerated bodies were on the floor, the detectives would want to get out ASAP and get a hazmat team in there. The burns may have been chemical, and they are inhaling that stuff.

For those who don't want to watch the whole episode: SPOILERS: The brother stopped refilling her meds, so the sister would have a full-blown psychotic episode and end up dead or in jail. Their father had a bronze bear (circa 200 BC) that the brother wanted to auction for around $300k, and he didn't want to share. The sister committed suicide in jail, and the brother got the 20 to life sentence.

I didn't see this episode, so I don't know ending or any of that! My big problem with this is the crime scene, the burned bodies were in two different rooms! In the woman's confession, she states she killed the man when he opened the door, then killed the woman when she entered the same room! No mention of moving the body, before lighting them on fire....
@sws2122 жыл бұрын
The gf probably ran a bit and couldn't escape the small apartment. There's no reason why she would've been waiting for the gf to enter the room and position herself near the other body. She walked in, saw the body, and reacted, probably didn't even struggle. All she did in the clip was condensed a small part of the story.
@brmbkl2 жыл бұрын
would make sense to pile up the bodies, if one is planning to set people on fire
@christiangibbs8534 Жыл бұрын
I couldn't help but notice that, too. NOt to mention the pristine condition of the apartment: To do that much damage to the bodies, they'd have to burn at over 600 degrees C (1100 F) for at least 15 minutes. Still, there were no fire alarms, no burned furniture, no melted or peeling paint, and almost zero smoke. The wooden chair right next to the first body didn't even contain traces of soot.

@ameliarose47 Жыл бұрын
@@mrjeffob this is what confused me because I assumed the implication was that what was in the buckets melted the humans but a bucked like that wouldn't last. Only explanation would be if they got a way move stable bucked that could SOMEHOW insulate the 600+ degree (fahrenheit) liquid (which would need to be that hot to fry the bodies) and then coated it in the plastic whatever to make it look more normal during transport. But I doubt that's even physically possible and even if why go through that trouble? At that rate get a proper container with a freaking top on it.
