this study has alot of flaws and i can debunk it easily so just see , in only male y chr present that is only males are capable of evolution and only capable of creating new species because only y chrm can only go through evolution . The chromosome itself is already degenerate. It can not stand on its own without the X. The chromosome itself is not a Y it is a broken X chromosome. It literally serves not purpose but to determine a male. The X is the oldest and natural to this planet. Women existed way before men and at one time was able to reproduce without engaging in sexual activity with men. This process was known as parthenogenesis or virgin birth. It is possible for the female body to evolve back to that state for survival if needed.
