Xenomorph Boilers / Alien Explained

I just realized the boiler Xenos are me in the morning. Slow, stumbling and pissed at everything before coffee.

Yeah the boilers are a really cool edition to the Xeno family tree. I died so many times during that segment in AC. I would move slowly and still die. Keep up the great content my dude.

I like the idea Boilers are just Spitters or Warriors that were mutated during the gestation process due to the radiation, and as such they come out underdeveloped

He didn’t created our beloved alien, the xenomorph. According to the TTRPG (which is based on the canon bible), it was a Praetomorph that he created.

my thought of crusher, raven and boiler is thus weyland yutani wanted to see what radiation would do to a xenoorph. so they brought some with them and used it to experiment on the xeno's not as adults, but in facehugger, to embryo, to chestbursters. they got lucky and created the praetorian look-alike: the raven. however, they were not expecting such rapid growth and strength from it, the scar on its face could be after killing the scientists and guards working on it, they had to bring some heavier guns to bear, managing to damage it in the process as it killed and escaped. or the scar could have come from somthing happening to it in chestburster form and im not talking about a human level of radiation, i'm talking liquify a human if exposed kinds of levels of radiation. chernobyl reactor when it went critical levels. so the Raven was the one they were hoping for, a mutation to show their adaptability. the Crushers was the earlier prototype, a mix between the normal xeno's they used as test subjects, and the boilers who were failures the boilers being failures, were not really seen again as WY stopped using the ammount of rads needed for a boiler to come to be. the crushers however, are all over the place, so they must have tried again and again to replicate the raven. or maybe they used some other mutagenic compound to alter the xeno's and it dont even need to be WY that 'made' them. the mutations could be in the xeno genetic library all the time, they just need somce force that causes them to adapt thoguh going with the radiation theory - my guess is it went like this: some WY scientists expose the xeno's in captivity (the whole lot of them) nearly all of the xenomorphs subjected to the butt breaking levels of radiation WY was using showed SOME signs of change, alas, all those they saw display ANY change became the boilers we see. but ONE of them, perhaps sheilded in some part by its siblings, or perhaps absorbing more then the others, mutated differently and rapidly became what we know as the raven. while still developing its bullet proof Hide, it went berserk and broke out of the confinment, killing ALL the humans nearby. the boilers, being fairly blind, followed all the noises the raven was making. wether it was screaming humans being ripped apart, its growles, the tearing of metal or its thudering foosteps. the raven, now having broken out of confinment and taking a scar on its face, sought out a dark, quiet secluded place where it could finish growing its hide to the bullet proof tank we all know. so it found its lair, the one we found it in and settled down. the boilers, having followed the raven, also settled down, as it was no longer running around, screaming and killing. the activity and noise level dropped. thus the boilers just kinda, sat down with some continuing to wander from time to time. that could explain why they go bannana's if they hear anything: they are used to the background noises of fans and ventalation ducts at work. and the dripping of water. but splashing and footseps? a generator being turned on? those dont sound like their fellow xeno's, boiler or not, and they dont have the growling or the thudding foosteps of the raven. so it must be an intruder.

I think the boilers are the only xeno variants that can`t climb walls and are clumsy and cumbersome. Imagine how easy it is for a marine to shoot it dead from afar although mind them exploding in raining acid.

I think the radiation theory is possible all living creature must have some weaknesses especially Xenomorph. Imagine a group of xenomorphs that can speak human language and are allied with humans.

There is a variant of this Boiler in Alien Fireteam, called a Burster. The same size as a Runner, it's slightly tougher, and will implode upon death. I think this variant is a more viable form, created through selective breeding, and careful genetic takpering.
