After discovering that a sanitarium doctor has been performing unethical mind control operations on his patients, David Banner finds himself placed in a straight-jacket under the evil doctor's care. We don't think that straight-jacket is going to do much to hold The Incredible Hulk down though!
From The Incredible Hulk Season 2 Episode 22 'The Quiet Room' - In a sanitarium, Banner runs afoul of a doctor performing mind-control surgery.
The Incredible Hulk (1977 - 1982): Dr. David Banner is a widowed scientist caught in the middle of an experiment gone bad. As a result, whenever Banner gets extremely upset or stressed out, he turns into a huge green monster called the Incredible Hulk, with awesome strength and rage to match.

Along with Hulk & Wonderwoman, the superhero shows (in the US) in the 1970s just helped keep this superhero concept alive & moving along to what we have now with the MCU/DCEU, as part of its continuation since the days of Tarzan, Buck Rogers, Batman & Flash Gordon of the early 20th century. Greatest American Hero, Spiderman 1977, Superfriends animation, Superman 1979, Bionic Man/Woman & Shazam (& others) also come to mind when I also watched these as a kid of the `70s. 08/07/24

The Incredible Hulk movie in 2003. With Eric Bana, Sam Elliot, and Nick Nolte. Lou Ferrigno made a cameo as a security guard.

I kind of missed the way they used to show him mid-change in the first season. They only seemed to bring it back for Prometheus as he gets stuck mid-way as the Incredible Banner.

As a kid, I used to love watching this every Saturday evening but when the camera zoomed in on his eyes when he was about to turn into the Hulk, that part used to scare me along with the sound effect it came with lol
