I loved seeing Cynthia and Milkades commentary on Wyatt’s actions. Interesting that everything can be brought back to Wyatt’s actions. Wonder if they will go hunting the other cattle ship. Can’t wait to see what Clara will do next though. We know Wyatt is in for some pain with Cynthia’s new training regiment. Wyatt’s psych eval will probably show he’s paradoxical.

I think that would be a great move! Clara and Wyatt go Drazzen hunting through the Principality. Destroying pirates and rebels right along with them. If there is another cattle ship, then there’s probably another fallen system in those infiltration systems Cynthia mentioned the Drazzen came through.

Another great episode. I liked how only the inner circle reviewed the footage for now. I also noticed in Cynthia's information included the route the Drazzan took to arrive in the system and the route included going through Gilmore territory. Does that mean they may now have a reason to visit Wyatt's home world with Clara's complete inner circle? That is the one I really can't wait to see. Clara also mentioned that she would be talking to her brother soon, which I'm sure will be when Wyatt will be elevated again. With the footage being released "accidently" there will be many folks that will do everything they can to simply avoid Wyatt fearing what he would do to them if angered. @@ssark9187 While that is true, would they really? The traitors most likely still see Wyatt as a lowly commoner. Albeit a dangerous one. Will the Duke actually send people to try to find his commoner family. The duke and his forces don't know anything about him other than what Jade has reported or seen in the televised accounts. Is it worth the effort to deal with one individual. Even in our real world, how often do they go after a combatant's family. It really depends on how the author wants to play it. Who knows.

@@rdland2985 it´s a relatively old book series. Got the first book about 18 years ago from a friend , read it and forgot about it, but about 5-7 years ago I rediscovered it and found the rest of the series :D I don´t know why it is so unknown but it deserves more publicity

I think that what Gault said to Wyatt back in chapter 29 that he thought Wyatt was "a figure of legend the likes the Principality hasn't seen in centuries" is coming to pass. With Clara telling Milcades to post the video and word of mouth from the pilots and others that have seen him show his skills the legend of Wyatt Staples is starting. I can't wait to see it grow.

A critical and imperative command staff meeting focused greatly on a single man and the implications of his actions. They review and critique his performance and speculate on his motivation for every action he has taken. Clara weighs the motive critically to ensure that Wyatt has not been untruthful in pursuit of honor and glory because he has uncanny ability to mask his ability to deceive and lie. We begin to see that Clara has not lost sight of using Wyatt's success to shape the mindset of friend and foe that hear about his victories. We see Clara start to shape Wyatt's contributions as the 'poster boy' image she wants to use and promote her brother's bid for the succession and Wyatt's personal reputation. This meeting reminds me of a parent teacher conference, and a publicity campaign strategy meeting. The mentors critique how well he has learned his lessons and his motivation in performing his duties. The culmination of information together that is sure to gain attention published in the right manner to promote the his reputation and by extension Clara's success supporting her brother's campaign for succession. The truth is uncovered how the Drazzan have participated in this succession conflict, an alliance of local forces with foreign powers to overthrow a portion of The Principality for personal glory and profit by rebel and pirate forces. It may turn out that Duke Draymor's anonymous benefactors are actually working behind the scene to prevent the Drazzan invasion and foothold in the principality but have inadvertently complicated the success of defeating the Drazzan except for Wyatt's victory at Jintrax. This would explain alternative reasons the Black ships were even in the vicinity of Jintrax and the hidden space station discovered there to begin with. How will this information be leaked or kept hidden till they uncover the anonymous sender of the invitation to the Drazzan to invade the Principality. Wyatt will undergo an official psychological evaluation at the insistence of Redford to verify his mental state and implications of how it might impact their plans. I am not sure for certain that it is normal procedure or something of a precaution that Redford has ordered this be performed. Javier is not likely to find safe harbor on the planet he has escaped to since forces there are hostile toward the Principality and nobles alike. That assumes his forces can survive the Drazzan already on the planet. Jintrax was the defeat of a Drazzan force that wound up turning on their allied forces here at Hastron. I am curious if the ground assault force on the planet is being lead by the Drazzan general that was defeated at Jintrax, and if so how the recent space conflict and loss will affect the Drazzan on the planet. It appears Clara intends to grant Istonel his Drazzan specimen request, though she voiced how incompetent his family was at defending and managing the Hastron system for so long that it was overtaken. Hastron may yet become a key piece of the puzzle in the succession conflict if either the duke or the prince can intuit the other Drazzan incursion points/goals before Drazzan can establish a foothold in Principality Territories. There was reference to initial paths these incursions traversed that might become key to the story also. I am sitting in anticipation how Duke Draymor and his allies will react to the 'leaked' combat footage and victory reports by Clara in the Hastron system. Her brother the prince will surely question if his victory playing Wyatt in the game of chess was authentic, but probably be ever more grateful that his sister Clara chose to support him over her uncle's play for succession to rule The Principality. The prince will have to send reinforcement forces to help clear the planet Hastron and take possession of the captured enemy ships for his own fleet before Duke Dreymor mounts an offensive force to try and counter the victory Clara has achieved. Duke Dreymor must surely now decide how to respond to this battle or appear weak in his ability to rule The Principality before his allies and supporting families. Let me hold back and let the author decide where the story goes for now because Ekhidna is already penning an incredible adventure and drama for our entertainment. Absolutely masterful how the Author Ekhindna is steering the story development. So many previous events both explained and related or intertwined to this Drazzan incursion. More clues of what to expect in future Chapters and their Parts particularly a 2nd cattle ship. Now expecting Princess Clara to be utterly ruthless when dealing with both the pirates on the planet surface and the inactions of House Ferentis. As expected, any surviving rebels that escaped to the planet surface will be dealt with in the future. Definitely expected an update about finalising control of the Drazzan cattle ship to be next in line. More expected this analytical review of Wyatt’s actions by Princess Clara and her inner circle to be in a future Part Chapter. Interesting interplay and observations during the review. Nice detail touch that Wyatt eliminated 145 crew members of the Gallant Venture. Potential factor to explain why Clara insisted upon a mandatory psych evaluation for Wyatt. LIKE also given to many comments instead of repeating our aligned thoughts. So many different thoughts about releasing an edited combat footage of Wyatt’s exploits. Now waiting for a dramatic negotiation encounter between Clara and Felicity Cintor with her painfully slow healing arm.

Wonderful review of Wyatts sorjourn on the Gallant Venture. The release of his decimation to the principality will have repurcusions, one of them being his family. I believe they will try to remove Wyatt from the board by capturing his family. I also belive that will not go well for them, there is the blue blood hating neighbor and the brother who hunts deadly birds for a living. Cannot wait for that episode if our beloved author takes us down that particular path.

I pity the dumbass that tries that. So we got the father that can put anything together/fix anything and engineer. Mother has vast social contacts and part of the social care system. First younger brother is a hunter and Wyatt said better shot than him! Youngest brother got credit for the torpedo/mining drone idea Wyatt came up with, part fix it like dad and part genius inventor. Then you’ve got old man Worlo, ex Axillia that’s seen battles. Who knows who else is in the neighborhood? Yup, bad idea to try something dumb like that. Also the rationale why they waited and watched Wyatt deliver a well deserved response to the traitor noble's surrender broadcast. No wonder why they were so full of praise for Wyatt's actions which surprised Princess Clara.

Not surprising that EkhidnaWritez has this episode start with Redford, Clara, Cynthia and Milkades reviewing the footage from Wyatt's armor of his soloing the GV. Interesting seeing how each of the think of it as they see it together and them debating about it. I do like how Redford while not caring for Casimir and Felicity but sees how Wyatt treated them as a possible dangerous habit he may develop🤔. I do like how we learn more about the 2nd batch pure commoners after accepting Wyatt's terms of surrender, spread the word to other commoners the lethality of Wyatt and his surrender terms. I am not surprised Cynthia would say she would've killed crew of the GV in her way no matter what. Though Wyatt's mercy to those willing to surrender does fit him perfectly😊. Its hilarious around 3:00 Milkades asks Clara to give Wyatt to him and he would makes Wyatt into very deadly infiltrator. Its no surprise that Clara says that even if Milkades begs her, she is never letting go of Wyatt 😂🤣. I swear now that at 3:46 the actions Wyatt does here remind me of Victor Cachat of the Honor Harrington verse books by David Weber. 😂🤔🤭 I do like how Cynthia gets annoyed with Milkades implying she would've killed the large group of unarmed commoners. Milkades responds saying Blood Rend 😂. Its smart of their 1st time watching it to just absorb the info and 2nd time they talk about it😊.I do like how the 4 react to Wyatt saving the noble to cared about his subordinates and its Redford says its probably because this noble cared for his subordinates and they in turn were devoted to this noble. So the mysterious noble is Declan Oakmoon, 5th son of the head of Oakmoon, a minor noble house that is under house Tigain. I was not surprised that Oakmoon survived since I had a feeling he was someone that EkhidnaWritez plans on becoming a character of some importance. 🤔 I do like how they talk about how Wyatt took umbrage on that marine leader who used his commoners as to weaken Wyatt for his chance of taking down Wyatt. Hilarious part 10:17 where Redford says unconventional, Milkades says unpredictable and Clara says paradoxical all 3 talking about Wyatt!🤣 Good to learn the names of the 3 Royal Marines that boarded the Gallant Venture being Vivian, Jericho and Vastal and they arrived on the GV about the time Wyatt reached Siro’s defense line. I am glad that its pointed out that Wyatt could have waited at that point and would have had 3 RMs with him in minutes but their was no way to communicate with the system jammer in action. I do like how Milkades and Clara talk about the fact that Wyatt in RPG or D&D/Pathfinder terms has like +20 to bluff skill checks.🤭 They are confused by how Wyatt can lie like a expert noble or skilled covert ops person but never has had any training to make him so skilled at lying. I do like how Redford talks about how Siro was a rare man that cared about his crews lives, knew the shitty situation he was in and chose the option where he could die with honor and save the lives of some of his crew. That and Siro intentionally handy capped himself to do his best to keep his honor but tip the odds in Wyatt’s favor. 🤔☺ Yeah I am surprised and not surprised that EkhidnaWritez wrote the kill count of Wyatts with many listeners wonder it and it being 145. This way also it further shows the full paradoxical nature of Wyatt who can be so cold blooded but also be so merciful. Well its even more poor Casmir for his dismemberment could have been avoided if the 3 RMs who saw the entire thing stepped in to stop Wyatt but they were happy to let Wyatt entertain them. This makes Felicity’s decision to try to kill Wyatt even stupider considering from her vantage point she should have been able to see the 3 RMs but was so totally focused on Wyatt! Its no surprise that its brought up that Wyatt not 1 time during this crusade has said anything for his own personal glory, no matter how deserving it. well this is surprising twist with Clara saying to have Wyatt’s footage combined with the GV security footage, edit out the more rude points, exult how ruthless/merciful he is and leak this footage to the network.😮 Clara wants this video to help counter balance the leaked faked video by Jade. I do agree with Redford that Wyatt should not be have the spot light centered on him but Clara has a point. Wyatt put himself right in the middle of majority of key achievements in this campaign, so might as well do your best to control the narrative for Wyatt’s reputation and propaganda purposes. 🤔😏 I am glad that Redford says the 1st thing to happen after Wyatt wakes up is for him getting a pyscholocial evaluation and Clara is smart in agreeing with it. Good to see we find out how the Drazin forces got to Hangstrong. Well this is not good they came through 2 different major noble house, including Gimore space and there’s at least another cattle ship in Astorian space. Interesting to hear that the Hago rebels and a pirate group allied with the Drazin to create space for Hago nation into an empire and the Drazin would get a system for themselves. Fortunately for good guys the Drazin 1st assault was at Woodshaft and Wyatt ends up stopping that invasion and the Drazin irrationally turn and attack their human allies. Nice twist that the Drazin Collective were invited an year in the advance before the HW. Then the fact the Eribians and the Hierarchy were not invited means this mysterious faction does not want the Astorian nation destroyed or at least in invoke the Pax Humanitous. Nice to know the Eternal Garden has 10 million Drazin embryos which could be much use for Istinal Ferentis. After all while a few 100 Drazin is nice for experiments but having like 10 million in stasis means he has decades of test subjects if he can grow them in small amounts at a time. This good chance may need some Drazin tenders to properly grow this young Drazin until Istinal has a good grasp of it. 🤔☺ I am glad that Clara will show Max and Siro proper respect as good they deserve. I am glad that Casimir is getting proper medical attention to undo the physical damage Wyatt did to him.🙂 I am happy that Felicity is getting minimal medical attention as she deserves with getting so many people killed needlessly.😏 Smart in start rotating the RMs so they can get rest as they continue purging the Drazin on the ET. It will be interesting for Wyatt having to take psychological test to he can be properly diagnose his mental trauma old/new and other mental issues. This way his new friends can better help him handle his demons and help temper his self destructive tendencies. ☺

I have a bad feeling they are going to see this before the next time he calls them.😞 I can see Wyatt’s parents and siblings next time when Wyatt calls them, they will chew him out for being so bloody reckless and going on a needless death ride. They will still praise him for his service to the royal family and having mercy on Draymore forces that agree to his surrender terms but they want him alive. Interesting roundabout way for Clara to get reinforcements to knock sense into Wyatt to do death rides as a last logical resort. 😏

Lovin your story telling skills Ekhidna. Awaiting my next fix😁 Wyatt's after action review was for us. They let the audience know that Wyatt's skills are way above average but still way short of a RM. Clara is making a Reputation for Wyatt that will make others stand in awe of his abilities. Thought it would have been a welcome treat to recieve move in for on the plans/ status of the ships repair plans. However I guess that will be another part.

Great chapter. Good thing Wyatt wasn’t there it seemed almost like Wyatt was having his final exam being graded by the top professors in his chosen minor degree. A lot of people are waiting for the people on the ship to see what Wyatt did; I'm waiting for Vashakati Reid and Salazar's wife to see what Wyatt did. (Let's face it, Salazar Reid is going to be the only guy watching with a "knowing smile" on his face.) I want to see everyone's shock when Clara decides what to do with the ships as Wyatt doesn't care. (Let's face it, if there's any money there, Clara will take it and ensure it will be wisely invested.) With her reputation, as well as her stance on Wyatt, I think the Prince is going to ensure that Wyatt marries his sister. I don't think Wyatt wants his noble rank to rise. To Wyatt, I think being a Knight Bannerette is the ultimate honor. Having a Winfield and a royal marine training them, I would like to see a line of Knight Bannerettes taught combat, knitting, and games to ensure their usefulness to the Principality. I want to find out what Jincho thinks of the armor and medals worn by the pirate. If he knows, it may help find out who made the ships. I hope that Declan Oakmoon is given a shuttle and a pilot to take a copy of the surrender terms offered to Clara, a copy of the deal made with House Firentis, and a copy of Wyatt going through the ship that Capt. Milkades makes to Duke Draymore. More than anything else, I'm now hoping to see the next chapter! Well done, as always, Ekhidna!

For Wyatt's nickname could easily be "the repear's consourt ". Which places him in an odd position to everyone, commoner and noble alike. As for his family who knows him best, they'll be happy that he gas made friends again. Tho they'll have reservations to his "deads", but those will be tempered that he's moved on from his trauma from the drazzan. His duality, is just like his eyes.

Cynthia's information makes it clear that: 1 More Drazzan battles to come 2 There is another war with someone Black ship suppliers or Jades Real boss and this is going to be a hard war requiring the unification of the principality 3 This unknown Opponent must be someone far enough away not to have a Drazzen threat 4 Fighting the Drazzen allows Wyatt's tactics to be proven and accepted leading to changes in the principality to fight these upcoming battles I think Clara will need to get: 1 Jincho to adapt and use Drazzan tech and ships they have superior jamming that should be able to filter 2 The Salvaged Drazzan ships and black ships combined could be used to trick the remaining Drazzan forces 3 Building up Wyatt her fleet Wyatts tactics are needed to win the wars and reform the principality 4 Having control of the cattle ship will allow her to requite many from the planet Salazar will become necessary for this 5 A trip to Volantis will be necessary to pick up Wyatt's family (Wirt and Wam will be a lot of help fixing things 6 After Volantis a raid to Free the Royal marines is needed Note: I think Lord Harrower is on the planet Difit was the captain of the Eternal Gardens. This gives Milkades a target to capture and torture to get more information. I also think Max is going to break is lone wolf pledge and drink some Montrello and maybe take up making wine Comments???

Wyatt, Redford, and Maximilian will eventually be in the simulator fighting and evaluating each other. I also want Max to be on Clara's side, and maybe train the fighter squadrons, tactics and doctrine. With some of Wyatt's input of course.

The prince needs to supplement Clara's forces, especially now that she and Redford have shown how effective the strike force is in battle. A second cattle ship is on the loose somewhere, and must be stopped. Once Clara's victories are made public the noble houses will fall in line with the prince, and the Duke will loose all support. Just the way an aristocracy operates.

Great! Only thing missing is the popcorn 🍿. Love seeing the Scooby Doo (Clara, Cynthia’s, Redford, Milkates) squad's reaction. All with such pride at their creation Wyatt “John Wick” Staples Only one missing is Jincho. Will enjoy seeing Jincho's response to the “Data”. I have to say I see myself in Jincho more and more. I may have shown as much enthusiasm to my System Integration team when they delivered to most recent field test “Data”. Also interesting to see Clara's political acumen. She knows she can’t stop the spread of Wyatt's exploits so release it with their preferred take. Then delete or control any other video sources like video from the fallen traitors. LOL 😂😂😂 I was right those 3 RM's saw the whole thing with Casimir and Felicity. Their positive responses to Clara were specific to Wyatt's handling (limbs shot off or broke) of those Blueblood. Finally, Current Leader Rebel Gussev Onraste will be eliminated before anything else can be done planet side in Hanstrung. Need to also if possible eliminate Lord Harrower Karrtagolgo drazzan leader on the planet.

Thank you for this post. Wyatt and his family are in trouble. I was not expecting a psych eval to be a thing, and there is a concern somebody may try to "fix" him. Not a good idea. Also, while I understand Clara;s decision to post the video to the net, Wyatt's family will be horrified about, well everything, from the danger he faced to the brutality he displayed, while a target gets painted on their back. Clara may want to consider this could easily be seen as a betrayal once his family is targeted. Fortunately perhaps, the Drazzan went through Gimor territory😀 A quick visit, a quick extraction, and Clara gets to meet her future in-laws. 🤣

This could be viewed a couple different ways- Clara is wanting to exploit the Propaganda aspect- You see this man, you have 2x Options- Surrender or Die… That can be like having a Tactical Nuc in a Gun Fight… IF Folks can be motivated to surrender more then Fight, that preserves Both Life & Resources, and keeps the principality from going deeper into Civil War… Also if you Listened- The Video Milkades is to edit is supposed to be more from Wyatt’’s Helmet Cam filled in with footage from the GV, so the Carnage might not show Wyatt as much to Identify him, at least till the end- Highlighting his Body Count 145… lol

@@daghost11 I listened, and I did say I understood Clara's decision, and your points about the video on terms of the propaganda war are valid. I still stand by my comment, however. She put a target on Wyatt's family. If she cares for him, she needs to show she also cares about the consequences for his family as well as him. The point is simply that Wyatt and the threat he poses to the duke's forces will be clearly identified. The family is not ex military, so seeing the reality the guy is up to will be a shock to them, especially the parents. At least they will understand the look in his eyes.
