Where are you from?
- I am from Bavaria, hence my accent. :)
Why Miss Anglophilia?
- At the age of ten, I had my first encounter with the English language at school. My teacher never tired of telling us inspirational stories about culture “on the island”. And that was it - I fell in love with it all! So Miss Anglophilia is me and it has been for many years.
Is this just about England?
- As for me, it all started with England which we were taught a lot about at school. I was lucky enough to live in England for a little while during my university years. There, I got to know many lovely people - not only English, but also Scottish, Welsh and Irish. So for me, “anglophilia” doesn’t stop at the English borders.
What does "Servus" mean?
- It's a Bavarian word used to greet people that you know and like. :)

I love a proper cream tea!!! 😍 Whenever I'm anywhere in the UK, I always make sure, to get a scone with clotted cream and jam, at least once! Can't leave without it! Strawberry jam is my favourite combination, it's just a classic! 🍓

Lovely.Thank you. We have just had a very late 'afternoon tea' (9pm!) thanks to my daughter and her partner who brought a tray to our doostep at lunchtime. Too much to eat at one go, so we kept the sweet stuff for later. I prepared my scone with jam on top. ("Off with his head!") Lol!

Ohhhh, ich liebe Scones. Ich mache meine immer nach dem Rezept von "momo eats" hier auf YT. Die sind so lecker!!! Ich bin eher Team Devon aber bei mir kommt meistens Orangenmarmelade drauf.

What kind of jam? Where did you get the clotted cream?

I had raspberry, strawberry, blackcurrent, lemon curd and orange marmelade. I started with raspberry. ;) The clotted cream was in the box included, thank God. :)

I always love cream tea, but I don't understand why the Cornish scone should have jam first then cream on top and why do many people love it that way, it doesn't make any sense... and for me, I prefer the cream first then jam after, that's from Devon...
