I just made this and it came out perfectly, just like store-bought scones! (Alternative: I used stacking method instead of the folding method as shown in the video.)

A few other tips for scones - Don't twist the cutter, push it down and pull straight up. And be carreful to not let the egg wash fall down the side (effects the rise). I've done the slow overnight clotted cream bake a few times, it is a long process but it does give a good crust on top., which is a key part of clotted cream. Cream first if the scone is warm so it melts in a little... hmmm.

First time coming across making clotted cream on stovetop. The oven method takes too long and I'm afraid I might burn down my house if I do it. Will definitely try this method. Thank you! ❤️
