I like the summertime cool air that happens when you ride in the woods.

Really enjoyed following your road trip. Because I’m keen on getting a Scooter I came across Channel while doing some research. I’m from New Zealand and touring through the States probably would never happen. Keep up the good work.😊

I had kymco movie 125. I rode through every road in my city twice. I did 35k in 2 years. I once broke down because of electrics. They said have to buy 3 different boxes 🤔 then I stripped splines while riding on front pully. Had to buy new crank. 😮. I still think older vespa are still king. You have gear cross ➕ and kick start gear goes after 20k km. Depending on driving. Once in change seals and what ever needs replacing. Quattrini m260 disk valve de tuned would give you years Of endurance riding. I have malossi 210 with 35k on barrel and it's still fine.. still same every internal besides gear cross, Kickstart gear and seals.

Theres nothing like having your GPS lead you to some questionable roads. I remembered the first time i bought my bike and i used Apple Maps on my iPhone at that time and it routed me into train tracks and asked me to ride on it🤣
@QuasiRAW9 ай бұрын
Do you remember the early glitches with Apple Maps when destination were stacking on top of buildings and such? That would be an adventure "... rerouting... turn UP now!" 🤣👍 --QM

Of course you know by now, but the Backwards BBQ was AFTER CP#3 according to the booklet, so that’s why you and the others couldn’t find it at the village fete. Another case of Cannon Ball brain, I assume? 😄

We couldn't figure out what was at that location in the downtown Lynchburg area. TrickTracks routed us there, but nothing in that area seemed to match ANY of the pictures. 🤔🤷♂️ --QM

Quasi..how are ya, hope all is well, anyhow i was curious if you have ever ridden the tail of the dragon in i believe northcarolina?
@QuasiRAW6 ай бұрын
Howdy, Joseph! Yes, I've ridden the Dragon twice on motorcycles (sport-tourers) and driven it twice in cars (BMW M5 and a cheap rental). The Dragon is an interesting and challenging road, but I don't particularly like it... mostly due to the tourist traffic and relative danger of the area. The only "good" time to ride/drive it is during the work week, either mid mornings or early afternoon before the traffic picks up. Personally, I prefer just about any of the twisty mountain roads in the Ozark Forest areas in Arkansas and Missouri. Those roads have gentler curves and allow you to carry a little more speed without the same danger. Many of those twisty highways in AR and MO are virtually empty most of the time, so there's no other traffic to worry about. 😉👍 --QM

I've ridden it in a uhaul unfortunately lmao, really want make it back soon on a bike, I was almost dizzy after those twist and turns in the truck, and the uhaul was loaded completely so made it even less enjoyable. Well I got a uncle who lives in the Ozarks, maybe that would give me an excuse to go visit and ride some of those roads as well

Did you ever get new plastics for the PCX?
@QuasiRAW9 ай бұрын
Not yet! I'm hoping to have some time (and money) to start that project this spring. I'll be sure to record the process, and I might even do a series of live streams as it happens. Removing the broken plastics won't be too much of a challenge because I don't need to worry about breaking tabs. The remediation and reassembly should be interesting, though. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Quasi unfiltered..... Now that's scary. Ever find out what was causing the "smoking yamaha scoot" ?
@QuasiRAW9 ай бұрын
I spoke to him at the hotel that evening. He said that his oil dipstick came loose, so the engine was puking oil on the exhaust. I don't know if he lost enough oil to cause damage or not... probably just stinky and messy to clean up. BTW... I just added chapter markers to the video. If you're still watching, then reload the page and you can see the chapter jumps. 😉👍 --QM

my neighbors daughter just gave me a new XGODY GPS. her words not mine they best thing to do with it is throw it in the trash. so i hooked it up and in less than a mile from home it had me going down roads that don't or never exist. i just used it from walmart to my house less than 6 miles and i dont know where it was taking me to get me home. but i dont thing going north from walmart.when i live south of it so i think it might end up in the trash
