Fun fact: The reason why the floors are squeaky is because in Noble Houses or palaces in ancient China, and sometimes Japan, they purposefully installed the floorboards like that to always be able to detect assassins or intruders. Though of course, if not for the fact it was built at the Jade Palace, they wouldn't ever need them with them being home to the Furious 5.

I always loved the film but it was only when I was older and learned about some (very watered down) world history, particularly Chinese Philosophy, that I came to realise why this film is goated af. The scene between Oogway and Shifu about the peach seed is literally a battle of two of the primary philosophies in China; Taoism (going with the natural flow of life) and Confucianism (respecting authority, order, and discipline). This film is the reason why China decided to invest into making more quality animation. It literally changed the industry of animation and every time I watch I appreciate it that much more (and never fail to laugh either). It's aged like a fine wine.

Scoot, Scoot the movie is set in, basically a fictionalized version of China (or at least a land heavily inspired by China) so the animals in it are gonna be from China/Asia. Lemur's are from Madagascar, Red Pandas are from China. He's a red panda. "How did the Mantis get all the way up there?" Fun fact, Praying Mantises can fly. So he probably flew. Also it was brought up back when they were trying to do acupuncture on Po that it doesn't work on him b/c of all the fat. Which is why Tai Lung's pressure points don't work on him, b/c it works the same way

Not gonna lie.... When you really think about it..... Oogway was the the real reason Tai Lung turned into a Villain (Shifu is to blame too, but unlike Oogway he didn't have a way to see into the future). It really seems like Oogway deliberately sacrificed Tai Lung in order to bring out the "real" Dragon Warrior.
