We are surrounded by great philosophers, each with their own spin on reality, sometimes vastly different, sometimes extremely similar but with subtle nuances in thought that make such similar views unique and distinct from each other. No human perception is equivalent because no human lives exactly the same life. It's so cool to see the opposites and overlaps. And it seems to me, much of the time, that all of these views are somehow correct, in their own ways. Hairless ape creativity is astonishing. What's even cooler is that I can take advantage of all these vast and differing perceptions to help form my own. I never thought I would respect the creator of Dilbert as much as I am now, but here I am. Thanks Akira!

@@madhukarkumar4103 @Akira The Don My MeaningWave pitch when someone asks about the soundtrack to my life is: “Akira the Don is a British/Polish DJ and MemeLord who takes the words of teachers and preachers and motivational speakers and maps onto them beats and notes, noting these folks’ states of flow to form a new genre of music he calls MeaningWave. Go check it out! Akira the Don. MeaningWave.” If they don’t get their phone out immediately and look it up I remind them that “inspiration is perishable.”

I remember discovering Scott Adams in August 2015- the same time he and I both were predicting Trump would win the Presidency. Since then, I have bought his book, plan to buy more, have successfully applied much of what he teaches in my own life with success, and have enjoyed countless simultaneous sips. I am so glad this was made; I especially love the Donkey Kong Country sample, since that's my favorite game ever! Just thanks for making this, and thank you Scott for changing my life for the better.

Leapt to the comments when I heard the DK sample to see who else caught it. For those interested, the original excellent track is called "Aquatic Ambience" (alt. "Aquatic Ambiance") kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2bVcp2Fn7l6qsU. Dave Wise is a genius (as is Akira, naturally :-) ).

I am revisiting this compilation after 2 years. In the past, the KZbin algorithm has fed me a diet of Jordan Peterson, Jonathan Pageau, John Vervaeke, Paul Vanderklay, and Scott Adams as a side dish. Covid was a revelation to me, as I realised how irrational and mean people can be when push comes to shove. I call myself a Christian now, after being an atheist/agnostic for 54 years. The only flaw I see in Scott's narrative is that he fails to realise that Love comes first. Love and care, and if you don't start with these then you have no hope, no faith, no knowledge and no real communication. Thank you Don, thank you Scott, and God bless you all.

I once tried to fire a kamehameha, like most kids do after watching Goku do it in Dragon Ball Z. And also like other kids, I experienced a disappointment all the more bizarre for being subtly expected when nothing happened. I went on firing kamehamehas with a certain intensity of heart and mind. Until finally it actually happened. And that's the story of how I became the greatest hero of all.

@@akirathedon Hey Akira thank you for replying personally! It means a lot. I absolutely love your work especially Waterwave and JPWave6. So what you are saying is say I want to lose weight, I decide on a goal weight and create a system (plan and action) to achieve this goal?
@mikebasketball114 жыл бұрын
@@ankursharma1232 absolutely! Systematize your goal of losing weight - decide to do X amount of exercise and eat Y amount of calories (roughly speaking, unless you’re happy to strictly count, just approximate and watch how much you eat). The majority of weight loss is a result of caloric deficit. Consume less than you expend (caloric deficit) and weight will drop off you. Combine it with a little exercise (walking, jogging, gym) now and then and you’ll be in shape in a matter of weeks/months 😊 you got this! I lost 9kg in 2 months training jiu jitsu everyday and eating heaps haha. Imagine if I was dieting too 🤙 peace. Again, you got this!
