You know what i have noticed? When pianists get really into there music they rock back and forth. My chorus teacher does, you do, and i find myself doing it somtimes, i find it amazing! Btw, this is amazing! i love the grace notes.

I am learning this piece! You play it very very well and the graces notes you added are very nice!

You are simply just a joy to listen to. Joplin seems to be alive. He would be proud of you.

I freaking love Scott Joplin and all his pieces. Trying to play maple lead rag, bethena and this song right now. You play them all perfectly I always refer back to your videos when practicing

Dude, I love your performances! I'm listening to a few right now to help keep my homework from driving me insane. I am a piano student, and I've been trying a lot of Scott Joplin lately. I've been watching a lot of your videos to get an idea of how these rags should sound. Thank you very much for sharing your musicality with us all.

Wow!!! You played this like you've got some sense!!! I've been listening to Joplin players for more than 30 years, and I don't think I've ever heard a pianist with a better feel for the music! You captured the rhythm, the elegance and the FUN of the rags written by the King of the Ragtime Composers!

I really enjoy listening to Scott Joplin playing. May you continue playing as I can see you really enjoy it too! Best Wishes to you as a musician.

It sounds like Mr. Joplin had all these great rhythms running through his head, and he quickly put them all together in one song before he could forget them! I love it!
@Heavymetalthunda311 жыл бұрын
I like this version better than how everyone else plays it (faster) honestly. I think slowing it down was perfectly fine. Solo music is all about interpretation. And the speed allowed you to show the style more

Ohhh man, that's GREAT! The last third is brilliant. I don't know piano, nor this piece, but I was grinning from ear-to-ear throughout...and at the end, let out an audible "Wow!!" My nephew would love this. Can't wait to hear more. Thanks for the entertainment (and to Scott for the notes).

I've been playing the Piano since I was 5, I gave up at around 22 because I was stuck at Grade 7. I just started playing again and am finally making improvement, thanks to these Scott Joplin pieces :) You play them brilliantly, far better then anyone else I've seen play them. I am listening to these again and again to help me play by ear, thanks a lot for the inspiration and these videos.

Beautiful, as always. I love your performances.. it's obvious you put a lot of work into them. Thank you for sharing this with everyone. :) I've really been enjoying the Joplin pieces you perform -- I randomly come and listen to them occasionally.
