I met Scott Steiner in 2004. I was the doorman at a club in Boston and at first said he could not come in because the fire Marshall was there on the other side of the door and we were over capacity and we could get fined. He did not even complain at all and started leaving, then I decided that is just dumb to do and I’m a fan too, so I said he could go in and he just said cool, and gave me $40, I originally said no to the money because I was the jerk in the situation but he insisted. Fire Marshall didn’t say shit either, lol. In addition to the fact he was enormous, I was surprised he was just a super nice guy in a situation that would have annoyed most people. This was the coolest most humble interaction I could ever imagine from someone in the NWO, lol. For real, you are awesome Scott!

@BulletBill-yb3ti4 ай бұрын
When he rolled up you should have just said "(whatever you real name is) is your hookup to get in this club! Holla if you hear me!" and then stepped aside and let him in. No questions asked or any other statement made period. The Fire Marshall did not want to get overhead pressed for reps so he knew better than to cause a scene.

@@the4thtribe709 Bret is just a salty human being. Yeah it sucks that happened to him but it was an accident. This wasn't the first or only time he went off unhinged. Vince took the title away from him in the company Vince owned because he didn't want him popping up on his main competition with his promotions title. He had every right and an obligation to do it. What does Brett do? Goes back stage and sucker punches him. Then cries about a "screw job" for 25 years. He was the one who tried to screw Vince by trying to leave his company with the title. It's not boxing, wrestlers don't actually "win" the title, it's given to them by the management and can be taken away. Goldberg was green/newish, messed up and injured him. What does he do? Intentionally tries to injure Goldberg with a steel plate. Then he bad mouths him for 25 years. Brock messed up a powerbomb with Hardcore Holly and broke his neck. What does Holly do? Tells him it wasn't his fault, it was an accident. What did Brock do? Apologized over 100 times and went to the hospital with him for the surgery.

The matches between Goldberg and Steiner are the best because they are two powerhouses who aren't afraid to trade punches. I know Goldberg gets heat for hurting guys, but I believe him when he says it's an accident. Like Steiner they are freaks of nature. If they want to hurt you, they will hurt you. It's like Bruce Lee accidentally hurting stunt guys. It's not normal to make a fake punch or kick look real, but they do it for a living. Sometimes accidents happen like to Bret. Can understand his frustration because it ended his amazing career. Goldberg was one of those athletes built like a rock, who can hurt you even if didn't mean to. Better to match him with guys like Steiner or Lesnar who bring the best out of him.

The heel yelled at all the kids and told them to shut up and all. Scott hit him with a bunch of belly to belly's and yelled leave them kids alone they can cheer for whoever the fuck they want too. Scott won of course... Was gonna try to get his autograph but as soon as his match was over he left.

I wouldn't say he destroyed their lives. Steiner had to wrestle with a mask on for a few weeks and Taker was fine after. Where as Goldberg had a winning streak and a captivating finisher at the time. his returns have soured and made his legacy look poorly multiple botches, concussing himself, being in main events past his prime for sweet Saudi money and not putting over newer Talent. Nia injured people but has been very remorseful and respectful to those she has injured. She has grown to become more rounded a wrestler improving in ring and developing more character and persona as time goes by. She had no big ego and understands her role and place in the company. If only Goldberg took a lesson from her he would be more universally respected nowadays. But knowing Bill he will probably dismiss her as some Fat Girl like he did Asuka. 🤷🏻
