@@Hackersuncovered Sadly, I haven't been able to advance too far. It kinda exposed my neck problems and I'd go through a cycle of PT/chiro/gym/injury. Good news is I finally had surgery this past summer and I'm feeling a lot better. Now slowly getting back into a routine.

So if your seat doesn’t go down , is put the handles down lower and bringing them to a 90 still ok?

I'm guilty of giving myself tendonitis in my shoulder and elbow for doing this wrong with 65 lb dumbbell freeweights. I knew you're supposed to get to 90 degrees, I just have trouble kicking it up there! One time my elbow almost got bent backwards funny because I lost control of the weights during my last cutting phase.

Have you thought about making a compilation (depending on body part) of sound bytes into mp3 clips which people like myself can listen to while working out? It would help us remember to keep proper form.

One guy said in another tutorial that if the machine didn't let you align your wrist and elbows as it should be, to move up on the seat. Sit more forward. What do you think? That doesn't mess with your back's alignment?

@ScottHermanFitness Also for beginers machines ensure correct form is correct which prevents joint damage, I should know, my arm clicks at the shoulder when i raise it lol. If I had used machines initially this wouldn't have occured.

I agree that free weights are better but to call machines useless is a little short sighted. You have to ask yourself. What are your goals? If your goals are just to get as strong as possible then stick with free weights only. If your goal is to transform yourself into a bodybuilder then your going to want to do more than just deadlift, squat, and bench. Machines can be great additions to a bodybuilders tool box. Especially cable machines.
