Thank u for the info . I have a 5 months old rescued Scottish fold . It suffers from skin infection and dehydration . I'm treating her for fungus and it has soft motion how to deal with that? I called the kitten "Brave " . I discovered their nice traits . He keeps still in his place while giving medication. Thank u for ur care and info.

Do Scottish Folds’ eyes change color as they grow older? I ask because I have yet to see a kitten with copper eyes. I wanna get a Blue coat with Copper eyes but I have yet to see a kitten with those combination. That eye color is just soo captivating!!

Please don't get a scottish fold you guys. I have one and just today I discovered that all scottish fold cats suffer from a painful disease. The folded ears are a sign of this. I don't remember the name of the disease, but google health problems with scottish fold cats etc. My heart is breaking because i love my cat more than anything but he might have to be put down, depending on how severe the disease has evolved. We haven't gone to the vet yet cause i just discovered this. But until then i will have to live in this horrible place of not knowing if my cat is constantly suffering from horrendous pain. Breeding of these cats should be stopped because a life of constant pain is not not worth living. It's unfair for the cats. My cat is my everything and this breaks my heart into a million pieces.

@@ritageagea118 He does have changes in his joints, pretty much everywhere especially in the legs. They aren't that bad just yet but he has to take painkillers and a supplement meant for joint health. We are gonna take him to the vet again in a year to see how fast the disease develops. When it really gets bad we will have to put him down. I believe we have probably a year or two with him.

Valeriya Moore it depends on where you live :) i do recommend real nature wilderness also real nature stuff but also kittys cuisine, a good one is orijen. Get some Food with more protein (meat) than grain. Best is grainfree
