Was this really early in the morning? The place looks deserted

The locals can't buy it rent anything because of the high prices. They can't even live in their own town because they're are so many tourist lets. Prices have whacked up.
@saltaireorangebicyclechopp85556 ай бұрын
It started in Barcelona & now it's gone right down the coast, Tarragona, Valencia, Alicante, Malaga, Cadiz, no wonder there is so much anti tourism sentiment. I was in Huelva last week, nobody goes there so everybody was super nice. 😂 I'd not normally agree with manipulating market forces but airbnb & aparthotels are causing social damage to a generation of Spaniards, it's not right they need to stop new & stop renewing these tourist licenses.

@@saltaireorangebicyclechopp8555 every apartment , hotel , villa , shop etc is built on land sold by the Spanish for every cent they could get , they weren’t to bothered about their own ..and if it wasn’t for the tourists and people buying places no locals would have a job ..harsh but true ..everything from the builders , shop owners / workers , gardeners , pool cleaners , cab drivers, waiters , chefs , street cleaners , estate agents , solicitors , accountants etc etc just about everyone depends on tourist money ..
@saltaireorangebicyclechopp85553 ай бұрын
@@richardcole9558 The places l mentioned are cities, they functioned before tourism just fine and would do so without it. They are not tourist reliant at all, but tourists & investors have screwed the housing market. I take your point & what you say is true but that is for tourist reliant resorts.

No different to the UK in places like the Cotswolds and southern coastal towns. Locals driven out by mainly folk from the SE who have made fortunes on their properties. Sad and seems like Spain is no different.

It they don't stop Solar Geoengineering in Spain people will just stop going on holiday. Why would anyone spend alot of money to look at a Man-made grey/white blanket almost every day. Wake up people

From the first time a Brit got involved with selling property all prices have rocketed and the Spanish cottoned on. One spanish told me over 30 years ago 'no spanish will ever buy this from you', it has happened l know but it is rare.

Well there was me thinking last year my 400k euro would buy me a mansion with an Olympic sized pool. I've now sadly come to a conclusion just to buy a motorhome and wait for the bubble to burst. I'm seeing shoebox's being offered for 400000. Sellers are believing the agents BS.

😂😂😂 have you looked at Spains economy? It’s the second best in Europe. With people buying from all over the world to come live in Spain. It’s not bursting anytime soon. They will slow down house building to make sure it doesn’t.
