To all those with condolence, thank you. My Aunt was in that front passenger seat and the Bible was hers. To the others who are commentators on her death- state patrol said it was foggy and he wouldn't have seen the flashers. Should he have been speeding, no; I'm sure there are many who do, have, and will continue to. I never understood the trauma of one of these videos until now. And always wondered why people would rant about taking them down...now I know. RIP Aunt Chris and knowing the status of the driver may the Lord ease your pain mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Here is the story from our local news. This was posted 3 days ago. ⚠️ graphic details Just before midnight, Conroe Police were sent to a wrong-way driver fatal crash on I-45 just south of FM 1097. They spent most of the night working the crash. The road was close to being reopened when at 5:13 am a Ford SUV traveling southbound at close to 80 miles per hour struck the rear of an 18-wheeler stopped with his flashers on in the backup of the first crash just north of FM 1097. The SUV then struck another 18-wheeler. Two victims were pinned in the wreckage and a third female victim was ejected under the 18-wheeler. North Montgomery County Fire Department cut the male driver out. He was transported to HCA Conroe in critical condition. His female passenger was deceased as was the female ejected. Willis Police were assisted by DPS in working the crash. NMCFD spent over an hour freeing the female victims from the twisted metal. Inside the vehicle, they also found a deceased black lab. Montgomery County Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack responded to the scene for the inquest and ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victims to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Vehicular Crimes Unit responded to the scene to assist in filing possible charges on the driver. None of the three had identification. The fatal victims have been identified as Crystal Dawn Zeigler, 51, of Trinity, Texas, and Christina Lovejoy, 59, of Trinity. The driver has who is hospitalized has not yet been identified.

There is some facial requirements. However…being deceased, they can’t sue you for it. Mostly just important to do it here on YT cause of the massive audience. I see raw news feeds all the time and trust me, they film everything. Not about getting the face for the media side but often (at least the few times I have done this recording) investigators, insurance copies ask for access because many jurisdictions only take minimal photos. More than once my video helped whereas the investigators photos were (not intentionally) misleading.

No excuses….someone said it was foggy…..another reason to drive safely but, apparently, fog did not warrant caution for the driver who plowed into that trailer at about 70mph and you think I should have compassion for people like that who have a total disregard for safety. People are driving 90+ with great regularity and weaving across lanes to try to maneuver around slower traffic, often crossing 3-4 lanes with minimal clearance on slower traffice. Stay in the right lane in heavy traffic and do the speed limit….even then you’ll be harassed to go 100mph but just stay in that right lane. The left and middle lanes are the death lanes. Also, purchase a dashcam for your dashboard and rear window. When one of those speeders tries to run you off the road you can get their plate number and show the dashcam video to the police.

Back in the late 90s a friend had a wrecker service near Katy. He had 6 small trucks and 2 big rigs. He would call me every soften to run one of the big rigs. On night he called me. A Toyota Camry had gone east on the west bound side of I 10 It hit 1 rig, bounced off of it and was hit by another. Then some how got thrown under the trailer of another. Now what is strange is the hatch window of the car did not break. ...However that was the only thing that was in one piece not bent The small trucks pulled the car out in 3 big pieces and a bunch of scrap all over the place. We had to lift the trailer to get the car out even then. The first rig had to be towed, the 2nd rig we pulled the bumper out so he could go, and the 3rd had to be towed (air line were torn up) We had to get some bleach and a hose after the car pieces 2 days later for all the flies.
