Another simple edible glue to make, just mix water and flour. You can still use it like school glue too! Another thing you could use for fake glue would be to just use a liquid or runny royal icing, much tastier!
@markwallace17275 ай бұрын
I now have recollections from a long time ago in school. The school glue we used in Australia was Clag brand, and instead of a squeeze bottle it came in a tub. The lid of the tub had a brush type thing, so you'd paint the glue on. Well it had on the label "edible". So yeah, I'm guessing most kids at least tried a taste. I certainly remember eating it, using the brush like a spoon. Wasn't bad tasting. I'm a little surprised Mark "put the glue in the fridge" though. Surely one would "stick the glue in the fridge". Maybe after making all that edible stuff, he was fed up with Scott's puns...😉

In cake decorating one way edible chalk is made is by melting white candy melts & mixing in a little powdered sugar. Pour the mixture into any size straw and freeze to solidy (few mins). Use a skewer or chopstick to push the chalk out of the straw, cut to size. Best part, you can write with it like chalk too. For stick deodorant, I'm thinking either modeling chocolate or marzipan might be quick alternatives? Both have clay/play doh like consistency. Though, marzipan is made of almonds, so that wouldn't be good for anyone with nut allergies.

Would love to see a video or series on 'inaccurate' props. Watched a History of Violence recently and there is a small town paper (local hero scene) near the beginning that had some questionable typography. I'm not sure if this particular example is inaccurate or just supposed to represent a low skill small town paper... But it certainly didn't look real or stay on screen very long. You have done some videos sort of like this in the past so really I'm just begging for more! P.s. some floss might've been good for paring down and shaping the edible deodorant before reinserting it into the tube. Similar techniques are used with clay. String and wire can cut right thru stuff like that. That way you wouldn't have to sweat so much!

I am absolutely making the fake Dawn for when i go home for Christmas!! It reminds me of an infamous family story: my Grandad washed out an old jar of mucilage and filled it with honey. At dinner he asked my grandmother where the jar was, was told it was on the writing desk where it always is. He gets it, brings it back to the table then starts smearing it on some bread. Without thinking, my grandmother shouts, "no wonder we cant keep glue in this house!!"
