Hey, whenever you get to an empty patch, grab a handful and toss it on there. Also try spreading peat moss after seeding and stepping on it, patting it down. It will hold the seeds in place and give them moisture protection.

I did something very similar recently. The entire yards around the house. I cut down like 8 trees and put tons of work to get it back to a nice lawn. I planted seed 10 days ago with Scott’s and so far so good.

@@venky1777 You need to water it every day for 2 weeks for better results, lots of water.
