Why does this whole video sound like a ep from the Office. Summary: Michael finds that famous celebrity, Jared Falcon, is doing a competition for the best submitted video to be played during the Super Bowl. Forcing everyone to participate, he rents a bus and they travel around Scranton until they find the perfect landmark. Meanwhile, Jim has convinced Dwight there is buried treasure left behind from his great great great grandfather at one of the landmarks. He leaves ominous clues and riddles for him to find. Finally, after a long day of clashing ideas and traveling the group makes the “perfect” video! 2 weeks later everyone assembles into the board meeting room to watch the Super Bowl. Everything seems perfect, but when the commercial gets to Jared Falcon’s scene it’s interrupted by breaking news! It cuts to a clip of Jared Falcon’s house being raided for child pornography. Everyone in the room is appalled or shocked...except Michael. Michael stands there with his arms crossed and a grin. With a bubble smile he says, “I was on the Super Bowl”. OH! And Dwight ends up digging a hole in the middle of his farm!

I had a similar thing: Im a huge fan of Jackbox games, right? They had a contest where you could have a “fan fact” about your city featured in the Fibbage 4 game in the Party Pack 9, and I was initially hesitant bc “oh I don’t have good facts.” But I entered, and made it to the final 30 chosen! Abby Collins (Booloocrew), it’s a fact about a giant ugly 10 year old boy statue in Columbia, South Carolina! And I definitely cursed like Scott did when I got that confirmation email with the prize codes (the prizes were the steam codes for packs 1-9, basically the 8 games they released before and a guarantee for game 9 it’s on release date ), and later on when I saw my footage in game via a pre-release twitch stream! So follow your dreams! Worse thing you’d get is a rejection email/letter

Little story about Jimmy Fallon getting undeserved heat from the press: My mailman, Mike, would make extra money as a bartender at special events in Boston. One night, Jimmy Fallon was one of the big names present. Mike saw Jimmy posing with some fans for pictures, and he didn't realize there was another fan crouched behind him, trying to get a picture at a different angle. As he started to walk away, he stumbled over her and broke his fall with his hand and sprained his wrist. He was able to get hooked up with an arm brace and stay at the event. Later, Mike was able to introduce himself and get a picture with Jimmy, now with his wrist in a brace. Mike's daughter thought it was so cool, she decided to share it on Twitter with the caption "Two great dads," and tags Jimmy. TMZ gets a hold of it, and uses it to insinuate that Jimmy's hiding that he's a fall-down drunk, as he had recently had a fall where he almost lost a finger. Anyway, just thought it was crappy how the press and public like to pick on him. He seems like a good guy to me. And as a Red Sox fan, I'll always be appreciative for "Fever Pitch" and his bit on SNL as a Boston Public school kid XD

There's a pretty convincing theory that he does have severe alcoholism, and I'm pretty sure he's fallen drunk like that at least a few times outside of your story(not that that means your story has anything to do with it, but if anything that story would have been one of multiple instances supporting that theory) I don't like Jimmy Fallen, but I gotta give him credit where it's due. He actually made effort to avoid politics a few years ago when no one else would(which I find admirable since everyone else was losing their heads regardless of it being relevant to the show), he's never been that funny honestly(he'sthe epitome of a C grade in funny), but he's always come off likeable and never malicious in anyway. He just really needs to get that fake laughing under control, and give his studio audience a break because he overwork the shit out of them. Compared to the rest of the Snake's den that is "late nite television" he might be the only likeable one left(does Leno still do late nite? Him, Fallon and Conan are the only one's worth a damn, the rest could all be lined up to a firing squad for their war crimes against comedy)

@@romywhite290 One thing about the pandemic is if you are still able to enjoy a show without the audience laughter you know it's a truly great show! I've fallen into the trap before of just laughing when the audience laughs, and I've noticed it so much since the pandemic that if I'm laughing on my own I think the writing is truly on point
@romywhite290

@@meganchambers8108 the writing has gotten BETTER and more batshit. And Seth is honestly doing the most to make his writers laugh, and also roast them. Wally the Cue Card Guy is more of a recurring character than ever before, the running jokes are more elaborate, they all to genuinely seem to like each other, and getting to feel that warmth is so so wholesome. Also on Fridays there's corrections, where Seth passive aggressively reviews the corrections from the Internet. It's lovely.

@Megan Chambers This is why I think Seth, Amber, and John Oliver nailed the late night host scene throughout the pandemic, and it’s surprising they still doesn’t have an audience despite their colleagues like Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert (as of this week, Colbert had his show on the theater with a full audience, but the audience is fully vaccinated) having an audience.

I was in a commercial for the American Music Awards one year and didn't even see it until the next day when one of my brother's friends told me. It was back when Frozen was new and Disney had fans submit themselves singing Let it Go. I didn't get nominated, so I assumed it was over, but for the commercial slot before the winner sang live, they showed a compilation of submissions and there I was!

I just saw the disturbing series/documentary about Jared Fogle. He was a far worse person than I ever imagined. They had recorded conversations of him. It was just gross. I too was on national TV -- 20/20 on ABC, when I was in the audience of Judge Judy and saw myself on the 20/20 story! Fortunately Judge Judy didn't turn out to be like Jared, don't let that creep ruin your moment Scott!
