I interpret ol' limpet as a sad man who's best pal is slammin his wife. As a result ol' limpy decides to do himself in by jumping into the ocean, his one true peace in life. The rest of the movie is made up of his dying thoughts of another life, under the sea. What could've been if I were a fish. Quite profound, quite touching. RIP limpy... RIP

It is a classic 😁 sidenote, my grandma was supposed to date and expected to marry Don Knotts her family actually “disowned” her when she said no that she loved my grandpa and was going to marry him. They told her that she will always be poor and never have anything except a house full of kids. They were right, but she was happy.❤ she ended up having nine children and living in a old school house With all of them plus her two grandsons and I can tell you right now they were richer because of her choice.

@@stuffiequeen1764 the angelfish are from south America and need warm water usually 78-82. Goldfish need water around 68-74. Goldfish are probably one of the most mistreated captive fish. The tanks are always way small which will keep them from growing but their organs keep growing and shortens the lifespan by alot. They can get way bigger than what most people are capable of putting them in. It sucks

This is mixing tropical and non tropical fish together (those that need heated and unheated water). I dont see a heater or a filter. So in normal circumstances these fish would last a week (and also that tank is just ugly and poorly arranged with way to many fish). Glad they had room in the budget to hire and listen to a fish expert.

My theory is Henry was aware his wife was having an affair with his buddy - and the three of them were perfectly happy with the arrangement. (I mean, someone who wants to be a fish is probably not all that comfortable with mammalian intercourse, but prefers procreation where there's no physical contact between the male & female.)

(to my mother) "yeah, that's the one about the fish?" "Yeah, that's a great movie, you should watch it!" Wtf? Why did you know the name by just the way the fish looked? I’m glad you mentioned that Don Knotts was in the Andy Griffin show. That show may not be everyone’s cup of tea but as someone who grew up watching it and had parents who watched it, I can confirm Don Knotts was an incredible actor and comedian.
