My best analogy is they feel spongy, soft or like they are slipping all the time. Great car though.

I know those things are absolute dumpster fires, but that's only 43,000 miles. How does a vehicle go through 3-4 engines in such short time. I don't know though, it's a Chevy, it's entirely possible I guess.

My family bought a 2008 Chevy Equinox at around 100,000 miles. Had the oil consumption issue, but around 190k it just stopped doing it? Idk if it's possible for a problem to fix itself but I wasn't having to put oil in it anymore. I've had to replace the small plug that drains the coolant below the car. It had broken the day before I moved to college And no one noticed it till we were on the interstate... The issue was caused when a O ring had busted. Simple fix, just used a Chrysler plug and never had the issue again. A year later had to replace the thermostat. It had went out randomly, but didn't affect anything really except for gas consumption. It had an evap leak, but all cars get that unless they're sheltered in a garage. And at 220k miles all I needed to do was replace the struts and wheel bearings. Honestly I miss it, I wish I had been paying attention the day I wrecked it and had not been taking it for granted before then

Got on 07 Aspen with over 200k, original everything. 4.7 V8, Not the 5.7 V8. Unless I got lucky, I’ll have to disagree with Scotty on this. Wife been driving and abusing the hell out of it. Never changes the oil until I get back in town. Gone more than a year without changing oil on multiple occasions. Bought it new. Now I no longer travel for work and keep it regularly maintained. It’s a beast. Great truck!

Hi Scotty! I have a Lexus Lx470 2005, at 70000 miles the brake master and abs module failed; at 80000 miles the 4 hydraulic shock absorbers and the steering rack and at 90000 miles the gas pump. In total i spent about $6000 between parts and labor. All this in the las two years. I think it should be on your list. Greetings from Panama! ✌🇵🇦

The Dodge Durango you showed is the one after it came back after a one year hiatus. The 2004-2009 Durango was the same shape and size as the Chrysler Aspen, which was sold from 2007-2009. The Aspen was just a little more luxurious and has a Chrysler logo instead of a Dodge logo. When the Durango came back, it was a very different vehicle with a very different goal.

I own a Chrysler Aspen. It has over 250km(on Quebec Canada roads) and there is no problem engine wise. neither with rain issues.. I got a peach out of the lemon basket. I'm proud of that truck, I can't say otherwise for the other owners of Aspens. If you're *a truck guru I'd say put a demon package in one of these and keep the lights on for the next 30 odd years until another Aspen badged Chrysler takes form from the ashes. MY STORY TELLING OF THE MONTH:checked ¡ Great video! Good to know ,SUVs always scared me as being slinkies in a box. If you drive one,get a safe one.

Hey Scotty, I’m new to your channel. Really enjoy watching your videos (been checking the older ones too lol). What’s your opinion on a 1st gen Volvo Xc90? Personally I owned a 2004 2.5 Turbo for a year and put just over 20K miles on it during my stay in the USA. NEVER had a single issue. All I had to replace was tires and regular maintenance items (oil, air filter, etc). Was curious because I’ve seen some people reporting tranny problems, head gaskets, etc etc. Keep up the great content! Greetings from Perú!

Greatest SUV I've ever owned is my 2004 Chevy Tahoe with 270k miles & vortec 4.8L . Only thing done to it was maintenance like belts, hoses, spark plugs+wires, coolant & oil changes and the only that broke was the water pump and some worn out suspension parts. Engine runs awesome with a flowmaster exhaust 😎
