If the goal is less violent crime, we need to Regulate Alcohol. Increase alcohol taxes by ten. Rather than $12.50 per gallon or $2.50 a bottle of Liquor have a tax of $25 per Fifth bottle. Reduce the size of Liquor bottles sold. Minimum of 500 ml and behind the counter and out of reach. Shut off alcohol Service at 10 pm and close Taverns at 11 pm. Stop package liquor sales at 7 pm. Sober Adults deserve discounts on insurance premiums. The Blood Alcohol Content for Driving Under the Influence needs reduced and the penalties increased. Dram Shop laws need modified to provide compensation to victims and their families of over service rather than protecting irresponsible Liquor retailers. Ban alcohol advertising and marketing. Eliminate Religious Exemptions for Grooming Parties. Britain has reduced violent crime by taxing Liquor at the rate of $32 per Fifth bottle approximately. The Federal government could significantly reduce the deficit with responsible alcohol taxes.
