Scour Infusorium is it Black Metal?

I like the scour stuff, I’m not a big fan of black metal in general I find it fairly cheesy but anything with Phil and I’m interested

@ I had a few immortal records back in the day, I heard a few tunes off Abbath’s solo stuff that I thought was decent, but black metal in general, like power metal is a little to cosplayish for me, not trying to be rude just not my thing

@mattmillerguitar they kind of call all those black death bands brutal black death lol, there is your really crazy black dearh like portal and dragged into sunlight, then war metal. So black death has basically 3 micro styles. Man I'm a nerd 🤣

I'd say it's too catchy to be BM. :D I like the genre and I really really liked this song, I just think BM is the music orcs from Isengard would play by the campfire and Scour is more like Leatherface-heavy. :P

Kind of sounds more like blackened death metal to me or one of those bands who just play black and death metal and dont mix the two
