I like to imagine that it’s the interdimensional alien’s equivalent of one of those school assignments where you’re supposed to do a report on some historical event and create a diorama of it as a visual aid. The cosmic entity child probably procrastinated and left the assignment to the final night and thus had to rush in a panic to try and finish. It would explain the small number of characters, why only a handful of important buildings are finished, and why the rest are spaced out, low-detail painted wood blocks. Basically, you’re looking at an extra dimensional kid’s diorama for their school book report.

Okay, so here a a theory: this is probably to on the surface, but this seems like its a genuine model that is (probably) non anomalous. The brass structures make me think of small scaled gift shop/tourist trap trinkets, and the wooden structures sound like something someone would do in there spare time to go with those. The brass soldiers/ citizens are probably mimicking somone (probably a kid with his toys) reinacting his favorite moment in history, They have no idea that there set is anomalous, and they probably can see the braas statues or the SCP foundation walking around. And the object falling from the sky was something they dropped and didn't notice until later, or just rolled with and fixed later. Everything other difference was a side effect of this being a non anonymous person. Either that or its the classical- type green creating an accidental underground war.

I imagine that this is basically the interdimensional alien’s equivalent of one of those school assignments where you’re supposed to write a report on some historical event and create a diorama of it as a visual aid. The cosmic entity child probably slacked off and waited until the last minute (as many of us are prone to do) and thus had to rush in a panic to try and finish. It would explain the small number of characters, why only a handful of important buildings are finished, and why the rest are spaced out, low-detail painted wood blocks; they didn’t have enough time to finish the whole thing, so they focused on the most important parts and half-assed the rest. I imagine they got a C+ for their grade, if we’re being generous. Basically, you’re looking at an extra dimensional kid’s diorama for their school book report.

I get so terribly sad/worried for disappearing names on patreon reads. One of the people I watch had three or four names disappear that I’d heard so often it’d become an echolalia to say them alongside her listing. Now every time one of them isn’t read I hope they’re doing well wherever they’ve disappeared to.

I have to be honest, I'm not sure I understand why this one is classified Euclid... containment seems to be a fairly simple affair for it. It doesn't attempt to break containment and it's fully under control. That, to me, says it should be Safe.
@JanellHarbourАй бұрын
The only things I can think of that might make it Euclid are the details. Maybe it's because of the draw to common people. They found it because people heard gunshots. People might get nosey again if they heard them, or just find it exploring. Which doesn't seem bad, it's not an innately harmful scp, but imagine some kid goes in and is like oh were playing war, I'll be the bad guy, and goes and tells the figures they're there to take over Washington. Kids probably going to get killed. I do agree that I think it should be safe, those (as far as we know) are just supposed to be about how easy it is to contain, not how actually safe it is, but I don't know how much they factor in things like the draw or anything, like how the mask is Keter due to its pull on people, even though it can't get out itself. Not sure myself. I'm sure someone there can make a good reason for it, I think it was more of a slip than anything (there's a few I think are not correct) but I think I can come up with enough cover up reasons to be satisfied

Because your human brain loves unknown gaps as you listen to a story, and then actually finishing the story closes those gaps. The discrepancy between the vague things you imagined vs. the way the story ends is usually significant. So you will either be experiencing a mysterious story that's never resolved or revealed (often unsatisfying), or a mysterious story that ends up partially or fully resolved yet is not what you personally might have been imagining (also often unsatisfying). Have fun out there!

I've got a nagging feeling that we're seeing a small slice of a reality that doesn't exist. We're all well aware of string theory and parallel/prime dimensions by this point here... so what if it's a tiny tear? A small overlap into a reality where the British won? I don't like it. We should call up Eta-13 and see if they'll give it a snuff on a hunch. I know that's an expensive hunch but... if that IS a tear... and it changes in any way; we're gonna wanna know.

@MrFaceYeah4 ай бұрын
Sapient (or apparently sapient) entities are classified as Euclid, as a rule of thumb, because their sapience makes them inherently unpredictable.
@rynowatcher4 ай бұрын
@@MrFaceYeah there is no indication of sapientcy here. The automatons act out a play and only respond to specific verbal ques. Granted the thing abnormal object that destroyed the white house seemed to be an unknown, but there is no indication there was sentience behind that and not just a sentient entity that is controlling the recreation. Ie, a bomb that can blow up the world if a button is pressed is safe even though it takes a sentient entity to push the button. Even the fail safe solution for a containment breach is a charge to seal the tunnel leading to it; basically locking it in a box through another method.
@rynowatcher4 ай бұрын
@@MrFaceYeah it is automatons that only respond to specific phrases. There is a supposed entity that changes and destroys things, but it is seperate than the scp; ie, Dr. Wondertainment or the Chaos Insurgency makes and uses anomalous objects and uses them; most are "safe" once recovered. The fact that a sentient entity can use a scp does not make the anomalous object sentient. If they suspect sentience, there is not much proof of this and it is not ever stated in the article. There is no evidence the object is sentient and the fail safe condition is to blow a charge on the storage tunnel to collapse the tunnel, which is just putting a second lock on it. It is "safe" by virtue of the containment procedures, which is how the classification is defined.
