I think my favorite theme of the SCP universe is this constant sense of future efforts. Like sure they can't kill/deal with the thing now. But they intend to keep trying, eventually they might manage it. To me that is a far superior premise compared to "Nah the thing is unstoppable. We can never do anything." As well as the SCP essentially having an infinite number of attempts, outcomes and possibilities due to various means at hand. You can write the failure, the success and anywhere in between and all of them can exist in the universe, just on different timelines, realities or whatever. It's brilliant. I love it. I'm so glad I was told about this series recently.

Always felt that this Skip is trying to blame the foundation for the Earth quakes with the way it's written but i just don't think it manages that. If we saw the foundation and or theGOC/SCP Sitra Artra task force trying to destroy it and believing they've made progress only to discover the earth quakes it coursed and that the creature was far more resilient than they believed would have worked better. The main problem, i think, is that the SCP resides under a huge part of the Balkans. Harming it in a major way would probably cause immense destruction, with uncountable losses. I don't doubt they have its(hers?) demise as a priority, since last time i checked the O5 isn't exactly a fan of Sarkic entities, it's just very difficult to not do it messily. There are loads of SCPs that could kill it or severely incapacitate it, just not in a controlled way.
