A really fun (but long) round. Decided to cut out some of the bits where I'm chasing or being chased for a few minutes just because it's snore. Apologies about the bitrate, it's still perfectly watchable but not ideal as it's ripped from the stream directly, I'm still playing around with my settings to try get everything crisp.

I've noticed a few negative comments name-calling the admins. Please don't target, shame or witch hunt the admins of this server, be kind. The admins misjudged the situation and had to do a lot of work behind the scenes, I'm not the only player in this game and others need to have fun too. Yes it's lame from my perspective and the wave spawning at the end got grating for pretty much all players but that's no reason to use offensive language towards the admins, all comments including offensive language towards the admins will and have be removed. As you said, the wave spawning at the end was the (only) real problem here, and all players felt the downsides of it.

On one hand removing femur breaker made larry the top tier SCP for stalling, but on the other, it was way too easy to contain larry in the first few minutes because there was always a suicidal person willing to go in the femur breaker so larry gameplay was pretty much "stay camping the area near 106 room or die in 2 minutes"

@@ShokyoLeaf consider: a button for turning back off the magnets in his containment chamber to rerelease him after the femur breaker, but its something only Chaos/D-Class/049/079 are capable of doing and there's a sort of "cooldown" for using it after the Femur Breaker so he can never be instantly saved it has to be guarded just like nuke to make sure he doesn't get out again (because this is literally how he was breached in the first place)

Peanut died for an understandable reason, he is not able to survive in the late game. You didn't even cooperate with chaos, but killed them, which gives you even more "style points". Many guards and MTF just "for fun" kill D-class without knowing that they are given 1 MTF respawn token for their escape in handcuffs. And sometimes the murder begins right on the surface where 1 guard leads 2-3x D-class in handcuffs, which will give as many as 2-3 tokens. And then they wonder "WHY THE CHAOS SPAWN is so unfair." And I remind you that 1 MTF token is given for EVERYTHING that MTF does. That is, killing D-class people just throw their chances of winning into the trash. Escort 1 D-class = do 25% damage on any SCP except 079 and zombies.

When players look for servers, they likely try a couple different ones to try to get into a reset, but when they are spawned in as Loser Units or Chaos, they stay in the game. Also, though spawning people in is less fun for the few competitive alive players, it's much more fun for the many people waiting, so it's a higher gain in terms of enjoyment

the 20 people spawning was because of the admins, if you noticed near the end of the video before I took the last MTF there was an admin message about them spawning a last mtf wave soon, if they didn't spawn in those MTF and just let the round ended (as the last guy was in the pocket dimension), that would've been a more than fitting end.

Provided you're aware at all times of elevators that are available to go up incase you enrage him early, you can always escape. If you want to kill him, 096 is one of the few SCP's that's extremely weak to micro and trapping him in an elevator with a ball is very effective seeing as he can't attack you whilst dormant. PC combo'd with shy guy isn't ideal either, 096's are often way too destructive to make it work in the end game as doors often don't make it that long near POI's (elevators, checkpoints, nuke etc.). PC is good with every scp but weakest when paired with an 096.

Larry needs a change, currently the only way to play him is by camping around doors and then running, stalling tf outta the round and making it a snooze fest for literally everybody including 106 cause imo that shit is boring to play as. Sad. It's a tricky situation. Do the admins keep players waiting and risk them logging off or spawn more waves so people can play the video game? It's lame, but I'm unsure of what would have resulted in a better resolution. Spawning the D-class helps cleanse the palette for most players who were probably wandering or waiting for a long time. Another solution could have been making it so the players spawned by the admins (not by tokens) count towards the SCP win-con, but don't bloat it. For example, if 2 MTF were left, and 10 spawn via admin, team SCP still only needs to kill 2 MTF, but it doesn't matter which MTF are killed. The same could apply to Chaos. Though rounds abruptly ending in an SCP victory mid fight might feel strange.

Yeah, not a lot they could've done in that situation. Problem is that them spawning more players inadvertantly extended the rounds length significantly. A lot more players would rather the current round end and start a new than keep on spawning in to just die again. It all comes down to a fundemanetal game design issue though, the admins aren't really to blame - hopefully the new changes to spawning and tickets fix this.

I know the pain, I had a similar long-ass game as 939. A server had 035 in it, and an NTF guy got it so he had a gun. Early on I got naded down to like 20 health so I played radar for the 035 guy, and we would kill every NTF that entered to compound (2 guys refused to come down), then would try and head to the surface only for another NTF wave to spawn so we couldn’t. This happened about 7 times before they finally killed us and after the game ended I was personally blamed for making the round take so long (you know, instead of the afks on the surface). Admins wanted to intervene but thankfully they didn’t, that round was insane

This feels incredibly relatable [good round btw] I played 939 the day before rework released & had all my SCP teammates leave, so I was solo all game. I killed 13 spawn waves (the NTF and Chaos started teaming after the 7th wave cause the entire server hated me for not giving up). I was at about 3/4ths hp when I finally decided to mad rush the last NTF who the entire chaos team was defending from me. Both the NTF and I died so I didn't technically get the win but I counted it in my book. [The entire time the staff were a bit angry at me but I was being nice with them so they didnt do anything about me "stalling the game" by killing the spawn waves and trying to win lol]

God, I haven't played this game in ages. Looks like quite a lot has changed. Favorite parts. Around 3:00 when you moved around behind the MTF and D-class to come at them from the elevator. The MTF saying "get in here" moments before dying followed by the D-class asking "Why are we running?" before screaming in terror was just perfect. Around 10:40 where you follow the dude into the elevator, where he thinks he's safe, before coming out of the floor and killing him. 11:42 - You escape two guys, come at them from the rear, kill one before he can yell a warning, and then stand beside the second guy who barely has time to register you're there before dying. The silence makes it good. Then we obviously have that last stand on the surface. Perfection. That and the fact that the admins intervened confirms you are truly the 106 GOAT.

I know the video's a year old, but I came up with my own idea to fix the femur breaker issue (seeing as it's still an issue a year later). My idea was to make the femur breaker more similar to how it works in Containment Breach: multiple steps that ultimately lead to 106's recontainment. Instead of having just a sacrifice and a button press, there would be three steps: lowering the magnets, accessing the intercom, and then the sacrifice/button press. Lowering Magnets: A lever that is flipped and plays an animation of the containment chamber lowering to the ground. Would last ~15 seconds. Accessing Intercom: A button is pressed, turning on the intercom similar to the one in Entrance Zone. Perhaps you could send a short message in the time before finishing the last step. Would last ~5 seconds. The Sacrifice: The same as it was before the femur breaker was removed. Someone enters a tube and dies, then someone else clicks a button that broadcasts the screams. After the screams are finished, the chamber is lifted and recontainment is done. The delay between the sacrifice and broadcasting the screams would last ~3 seconds, and the screams would be their normal length. If the sequence is interrupted, the previous steps would remain in their state of progress. However, the first two steps would be reversible either by a humanoid SCP (049, 106, 049-2, maybe 939/096) or by a human. Once the final button is pressed, though, the process cannot be interrupted. The time between steps would allow 079 to alert teammates of the attempt to recontain 106, and the intercom activating would act as a final warning. After a certain period of time, the magnets would be allowed to be lowered again (by a humanoid SCP/human), releasing 106 back into the match. The process would be repeatable for a second time, and there are two possibilities for after 106 is recontained for the second time: either he can't be released again, or he can be released again and will no longer be recontainable, only killable (I imagine it'd be a setting that can be changed or perhaps the devs would just choose one). To be fair, I haven't played the game; I've only seen gameplay of it, so maybe this idea wouldn't work the best. I'd be interested in seeing how it could work, or if perhaps it's a bit too complex.

i love good players but i will always despise good 106's because of how irritatingly long they're able to stall matches though i did find it funny when i got a chaos spawn and larry hid in nuke room and swapped between nuke and high ground well we slowly wittled him down, every time someone walked up to the nuke door someone got eaten, except for me, somehow out of the 5 or 6 times i went up to it he ate nearly everyone but me

I dont understand how you misjudge this situation. 106 is obviously killing everyone hence the spawning new waves. if they wanted to end the round quicker they just wouldnt have spawned in any waves. They woulda just left it alone

Tbh. Larry is honestly OP. Ppl like to argue they made dog too strong/Shy Guy/Doctor. But just a little experience as 106 and you can survive against everyone. All the SCPs, a shtty coordinated push to shoot kills them besides 106. 049 - Just shoot..... Guards easily kill 049 alot. 049 best strategy is to follow other SCPs and revive who they kill because they are so sht. Can't catch up to anyone from how slow they are. 049 alone is awful. 096 - Dies easily to micro or when ppl work together and they break the doors alot ruining PCs use. 096 got nerfed to sht. Glass cannon. 939 - Most fun to play/versatile but a couple grenades and an elevator or a team of 5 can kill 939 real fast or a micro. Great with doctor. 079 - If you don't got good SCPs, good luck. And don't be afraid to play as PC. A lot of people just give up. Press F1 read it a little and your solid. All you do is close doors/lock and follow SCPs. It's really simple but complicated lol. Just takes some experience and less bitching you hate PC. 106 - You peek and when your shield is low, you go under. You can avoid grenade bombs, you get your shield back and can keep doing this. A bitch that's camps elevators. He is the hardest to kill, you have to guess where he comes out of the ground which is when he is the weakest because he's slow. You can't push him alone because he can hide om doors and grab you and go underground when his shield is low. There is no viable strat to killing him besides hoping he fks up his timing.

you're absolutely correct. 939 is pretty strong but in very easily overshadowed by 106 seeing as 939 actually needs some level of skill and tactics to be made good, 106 you can have a monkey brain and still survive multiple MTF waves. I've been asking for 106 nerfs and 049 buffs since this update dropped but looks like we wont be seeing that any time soon :(.

@@KadavaSmile I agree. The only thing you need to know as Larry is how to regen your shield now. A great nerf would be an actual way to escape the pocket. Like a maze instead of a Like 25% chance? Escape rate. Idk. Or lessen the amount of shield he has.
