Scrap Manor!! In the famous words of Scrapman himself, “Woooooooooooo!” I think your idea to put glass in the roofed sections between the vaulted gazebos could be nice! Once you have more glass you’ll be able to test the look of it. I fully support the plan for towers at the drawbridges. It’ll really enhance that “Medieval Mansion” look that the base has. Hopefully the wood is enough to begin the Double U-Turn Driveway you have planned on the lower level. Loving the progress! Keep it up!

The recessed light slightly lights up gazebo structure. It looks good when you get light but no source. I prefer the recessed light. Also I think it looked slightly better with the one thick arches on top, because it matches the lower arches thickness

They can’t break anything with 6 or more durability. Metal 2 or concrete 2 work just as well. Explosives, like the bosses when they die, can break up to 7 durability, and a charging boss can probably break anything but I haven’t tested or heard anyone say they’ve tested warehouse keys or big batteries.

The difference here is that there's no way to cheat materials into a survival world unlike mc

@@artygor2524 that's where you're wrong for there's a script that enables something known as dev mode which allows you to do things that you can't normally do in survival

@@artygor2524 it's easy, you can go into the files. You'll see a directory called survival. Go into craft recipes. You'll see a item list. Open it with notepad. Open the craftbot file. Copy one craftbot recipe between the {}. Change the item ID to one from the itemlist. For example scrapmetal. Make it so the recipe takes no time and materials to make it. There, it's done. In game set scrapmetal on repeat. You'll have a chest full in no time.

You can’t do that. Raid timers are not reliable because of the tickrate and the connection delay. It would either ring too late, ring randomly, or just not do anything. I might work the first few times, but it won’t be for long.

"I wish there were a sensor that detected time of day" The modding community is here! Bits and Bobs has exactly that feature. As of right now, it is still in the process of being updated to 0.4.6. However, once it does, it will also be compatible with Construct Mod Loader, which makes mod loading insanely easy for compatible mods (and also makes mod making significantly easier). The issue is that it's very difficult to spread the word, and so it takes a while to get a decent number of compatible mods.

Scrapman! You should put alarms throughout your survival base (use totebot heads and spinning lights)! Then have a timer that fires off a signal every 24 minutes, that signal leading into an AND gate with a switch connected to it, and connect the gate to sound the alarms! Then, when you have crops planted, you turn on the switch, and then the alarms will sound when the raid comes!

Instead of using a seat or stairs, a fast way to get to the higher floor is a bounce pad. Just make a pad with a sensor with a range of 2-3 in the middle of a 3x3 floor attached to an upwards facing piston with a distance of 1 and a speed set so it pushes you high enough to get to the next floor. that way you don't need to make sure you are facing the right way, or that the seat wasn't moved. you just have little "elevator" places to get up. I use these in my world after trying to make an elevator and accidentally making these which are way better. Like so he sees!

Probably know this by now, but i think the general area on top of the wall including the funny notches is the battlements, and those funny (But oh so beautiful) peaks are called parapets. (Great looking base!)

I HAVE A PLAN: Go to the little shacks and harvest the stuff from the porta potty. Then, build a ramp on bearings facing out to the water. Finally, make the porta potty on bubble material and have a floating toilet :D

Wooden roofing framed by brick could look really good for the walkways. And be less resource intensive than glass. But if you want a glass roof, consider perhaps paneling/framing it in regular intervals, say 2 or 4 'panels' per side. I think that would look better than an uninterrupted glass roof along the whole walkway.

You should make a alarm on top of the gazebos out of spinning red lights and maybe a horn or some kind of sound alarm so you dont miss the raids! Love the vids!

1) A roof on the main crafting area would be nice. 2) Maybe you could try to make an elevator and/or stairs so you can get level to level without having to jump down off a level or use the seat glitch. 3) Make yourself a bedroom. I just think it would be cool. 4) Some water areas would be cool. Make some "floating" stations/platforms. 5) Make a vehicle for warehouse runs, cause it would make them a lot easier and can give you some more storage for the raids. Just makes sure it is small, durable (teir 3 metal or higher should do), has a weapon (spud gun and maybe a drill, since it good to have a melee option), and can go up stairs/ramps.

Wow. Wowzers! You got style SM! Your base looks like a really spectacular place to visit. Just like a castle with a garden and a workshop. Doin great SM! Keep up the great work!! There's more: You could put sensors in the front wall of your base to sense the bots. Then have em turn the floor on automatically, Instead of the switch.
